E85 (or flex fuel) is a term that refers to high-level ethanol-gasoline blends containing 51% to 83% ethanol, depending on geography and season (see Fuel Properties and E85 Flex Fuel Specification). It can be used in flexible fuel vehicles (FFVs), which are available from domestic and foreign automakers.
E10 is gasoline with 10% ethanol content. E15 is gasoline with 15% ethanol content, and E85 is a fuel that may contain up to 85% fuel ethanol. The ethanol content of most of the motor gasoline sold in the United States does not exceed 10% by volume. All gasoline engine vehicles can use E10.
Gasohol. E10, once commonly known as gasohol, is a fuel mixture of 10 percent ethanol and 90 percent gasoline that can be used in the internal combustion engine of most modern automobiles and light-duty vehicles without need for any modification on the engine or fuel system.
The bulk of a typical gasoline consists of a homogeneous mixture of small, relatively lightweight hydrocarbons with between 4 and 12 carbon atoms per molecule (commonly referred to as C4–C12). It is a mixture of paraffins (alkanes), olefins (alkenes) and cycloalkanes (naphthenes).
Biodiesel is an alternative fuel similar to conventional or 'fossil' diesel. Biodiesel can be produced from straight vegetable oil, animal oil/fats, tallow and waste cooking oil. The process used to convert these oils to Biodiesel is called transesterification.

Differences Between Gases
Using Gasohol reduces the amount of importation of oil needed. Gasoline is commonly used for heavy vehicles while Gasohol is used for light vehicles. Gasohol expels less emission into the atmosphere causeing less pollution.The United States is the world's largest producer of ethanol, having produced nearly 16 billion gallons in 2017 alone. Together, the U.S. and Brazil produce 85% of the world's ethanol. The vast majority of U.S. ethanol is produced from corn, while Brazil primarily uses sugarcane.

Ethanol-blended fuel is widely used in Brazil, the United States, and Europe (see also Ethanol fuel by country).
Since ethanol is used to oxygenate the gasoline mixture, which in turn allows the fuel to burn more completely and therefore produce cleaner emissions, its use in fuel has obvious benefits for air quality.
Pure ethanol – 100% ethanol or E100 – could theoretically be used to power cars, but generally isn't, for numerous reasons: Ethanol is bad for cold-starting, because it doesn't burn as quickly as gasoline. There are no passenger cars designed to take E100 (but some racing cars are) so it could damage your car engine.

The largest producer of ethanol in the U.S. is a company that many of us have probably never heard of. The company is Archer Daniels Midland. ADM is a company that is an agricultural giant in the United States, and has decades of experience.
Ethanol is a clear, colorless alcohol made from a variety of biomass materials called feedstocks (the raw materials used to make a product). Fuel ethanol feedstocks include grains and crops with high starch and sugar content such as corn, sorghum, barley, sugar cane, and sugar beets.
While ethanol is consumed when drinking alcoholic beverages, consuming ethanol alone can cause coma and death. Ethanol may also be a carcinogenic; studies are still being done to determine this. However, ethanol is a toxic chemical and should be treated and handled as such, whether at work or in the home.
Ethanol and other biofuels are often touted for their ability to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by replacing fossil fuels. Traditional biofuels like ethanol can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 19-48 percent compared with gasoline, while advanced or cellulosic biofuels can reduce emissions by more than 100 percent.

Ethanol can reduce pollution
These evaporative emissions contribute to the formation of harmful, ground-level ozone and smog. Gasoline requires extra processing to reduce evaporative emissions before blending with ethanol. Producing and burning ethanol results in emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), a greenhouse gas.Ethanol as a fuel offers a host of potential benefits, according to its supporters. Because burning ethanol can potentially add more smog-forming pollution to the atmosphere, however, it can also exacerbate the ill effects of such air pollution.
While ethanol does burn cleaner than gas, meaning less smog, flex fuel cars still produce roughly the same amount of greenhouse gases as their fossil fuel counterparts. A car running on E85 has about 80% the efficiency of the same car running on gasoline.
E20 is a mixture of ethanol and benzine which contains 20 per cent ethanol. You do not need to change your car to use it. Right now at PTT stations, it costs 35.78 baht per liter. Gasohol 95 is also a mixture of ethanol and benzine, but it contains a smaller amount of ethanol – 10 per cent.
Fuels for Fuel Cells
In the late twentieth century, the rising price of petroleum (and hence of gasoline) led to the increasing use of gasohol, which is a mixture of 90% unleaded gasoline and 10% ethanol (ethyl alcohol).Gasohol is a combination of renewable and non-renewable resources. Gasohol is an alternative fuel consisting of a mixture of typically 90 percent gasoline with 10 percent anhydrous ethanol.
