Darklighter's K-22995 light flight helmet Biggs Darklighter was played by Garrick Hagon in the 1977 film of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, then-titled simply Star Wars. The animation style of Rebels is very different from Clone Wars, so obviously Anakin would look different. Especially because we're used to seeing him in all the sharp line of Clone Wars, but Rebels is much softer with more curves.
Dreis was amazed by Anakin's flying ability. According to TEGW, Dreis recognized that Luke's last name was the same as Anakin's, but didn't know if there was any relation between them. However, he decided that the last name of Skywalker was a good omen.

Anakin Skywalker is the son of Shmi Skywalker, born without a father through the Force. He is the secret husband of Padmé Amidala, the father of Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa, the father-in-law of Han Solo, and the maternal grandfather of Ben Solo.

In honor of Jyn Erso and her crew's sacrifice at Scarif, Luke Skywalker ordered for the specific "Rogue One" designation that they used to be retired. This led to Luke flying instead as Rogue Leader. He used the callsign in the defense of Hoth's Echo Base when it was besieged by the Empire.
In the war's fourth year, Commander Crynyd participated in the Rebellion's attack on the Galactic Empire's second Death Star in the Battle of Endor, flying an RZ-1 A-wing interceptor in Green Squadron as leader of the squadron.
