House Tyrell of Highgarden is an extinct Great House of Westeros. With the death of Olenna after the Sack of Highgarden, the House has officially become extinct.
A reach, in geography, is a length of river. The "Reach proper", where the historical Kingdom of the Reach was centered, is based around the River Mander. As the Kingdom grew, the name stayed the same.
According to author George R.R. Martin, Dorne is loosely inspired by Spain, particularly the south's Moorish heritage, which culturally sets it apart from the rest of the country and of Western Europe.
C - The Reach, being the most fertile and populous of the Seven Kingdoms, can field an army almost twice as large as two others combined, in the 60-70,000 range.
According to the books, before Aegon Targaryen united Westeros under his rule, seven kingdoms enjoyed independence for thousands of years: The Kingdom of the North, the Kingdom of the Mountain and the Vale, the Kingdom of the Isles and the Rivers, the Kingdom of the Rock, the Kingdom of the Stormlands, the Kingdom of
A reach is a section of a stream or river along which similar hydrologic conditions exist, such as discharge, depth, area, and slope. The term is often used by hydrologists when they're referring to a small section of a stream or river rather than its entire length.
Trujillo Castle, Cáceres/ Casterly RockFrom the Dothraki Sea to the stronghold of the most influential family in Game of Thrones, Spain can also boast that one of its castles was featured as Casterly Rock.
Largely because they needed money to repay the crown's oft-mentioned debts to the Iron Bank of Braavos, they decided to sacrifice Casterly Rock and sent their armies instead to seize Highgarden.
Disappearance. The Casterlys disappeared from history during the Age of Heroes, having been replaced by House Lannister. Legends claim that the adventurer Lann the Clever tricked Casterly Rock from the Casterlys, although his methods vary in different stories.
Obara the oldest is dead, as are Nymeria and Tyene. That leaves five Sand Snakes that have claims to Dorne now that Doran and Trystane are dead. The oldest living would be Sarella, who never appears in the show. As the oldest living person with Martell blood, Dorne should go to her.
Unfortunately, the day he completed the castle was the same day that Aegon the Conqueror invaded Westeros. This has led to the common superstition in Westeros that Harrenhal is cursed, which is the reason Petyr Baelish never set foot there ever since he was granted the castle.
The location of Casterly Rock on the western coast of Westeros is important in Season 7. Part of the war plan Tyrion laid out in Episode 2, “Stormborn,” was to capture Casterly Rock from Cersei to undercut her power in King's Landing.
While everyone else was busy warring, the Stormlands managed to break off Westeros and float away. They floated across the narrow sea and are part of the Stepstones now.
Cut to Game of Thrones and it's clear the Dornish have been severely neutered for the sake of the plot. But they were taken by Euron Greyjoy before they ever got close to Dorne, meaning no invading army boiled over the Red Mountains and stormed Sunspear to install a puppet government.
In Season Five, Arya travels to Braavos, where she tracks down Jaqen H'ghar, who is a mysterious assassin of the Faceless Men. That is her character's death: Arya is gone, in place of a nameless girl. But in Season Seven, Arya is reborn. After killing her rival The Waif, Arya comes face-to-face with a proud Jaqen.
The first answer to the question of who ended up sitting on the Iron Throne is: No one. The second answer is: Bran Stark and Sansa Stark. Allow us to explain. In the Game of Thrones series finale Sunday night, a triumphant Daenerys Targaryen revealed tyrannical plans for the realm.
The season ended with her lover/nephew Jon Snow, the rightful heir to the Targaryen crown, stabbing her to death in the Iron Throne room to prevent her from further acts of destruction.
Tyrion's reasoning for suggesting Bran was simple: Bran held all of the stories of Westeros. He knew its people, their fears and joys, and times of war and peace. A storyteller, Tyrion reasoned, could unite every person in every kingdom and prevent them from repeating the bloody mistakes of their past.
Jon Snow: Jon ended up as a prisoner, held by the Unsullied, because he killed Daenerys. In the finale's very last scene, Jon was north of the Wall, riding through the snow with a crowd of wildlings.
As cool as Bronn is, he is a sellsword and he's the first to tell you he has no honor. He's above average, but not a top tier. But his strongest skill is his realism. Bronn is good enough to stand a chance against the Mountain if he keeps his head.
According to another answer about the ending of Game of Thrones, Bronn gets Highgarden: This was of course part of the deal the Lannister boys made with Bronn so he wouldn't kill them. The remaining Lannister does not seem to have the power to give away other kingdoms.
Lord Bronn is the Lord of Highgarden, Lord Paramount of the Reach, Master of Coin, and the founder of his house. During Daenerys Targaryen's war for Westeros, Bronn intially assists the Lannisters.
House Tyrell (4.9 billion USD)They own the biggest share of crops in all of Westeros, thanks to their fertile and rich farmlands. They also control the most populous region and thus could field the largest army in the entire realm.
Casterly Rock is carved out of a colossal stone hill beside the Sunset Sea. It is popularly believed to resemble a lion in repose at sunset. The Casterlys of antiquity built a ringfort on the peak, and as millenia have passed its natural defenses have been expanded with walls, gates, and watchtowers.
It was enough to stave off Bronn from killing the two Lannister brothers, and, just like that, he disappeared back into the shadows -- until Sunday's finale.
