When fire struck the Crystal Palace on 30 November 1936, years of wear and tear, and lack of finance to repair it, had left it in poor condition. The cause of the fire is still unknown and there was never an official inquiry.

Steve Parish began his career working in computer graphics. He went on to buy a stake in a company called Adplates Ltd, assuming control of the business renamed it Tag Worldwide, transforming it from a London-based business to a global production powerhouse.
