For snow tubing, that means wearing long underwear, warm socks and waterproof outerwear and boots. Don't forget a hat and sunglasses or goggles.

Kissing Bridge offers other winter activities including skiing and snowboarding. The largest snow tubing park in northern New York features 12 tubing lanes of all natural-snow that are 1,200 feet long. The tubing run has a 100 foot vertical drop and their rope tow will quickly bring you back up the hill.
Galactic Snow Tubing sessions run for two hours and costs start at $47 on weekends and $38 on weekdays. Camelback Resort recommends that all snow tubers purchase tickets online prior to your visit to ensure you get a spot on the mountain.
A separate, small tubing area is provided for children 3-6 years old, subject to snow availability. It's the parent's choice to allow their child to tube on the main tubing hill or in the children's tubing area. There is no minimum height required for tubing.
Having a face covering is required to enter the property. Catamount Ambassadors are around the base of the mountain to remind guests of the face covering requirement. Are reservations required? Yes, reservations will be required for tubing.
Tubing HoursTubing runs weekends and holidays during peak ski season and is done in one-and-a-half-hour time blocks of 10:00am–11:30pm, 11:30pm–1:00pm,1:00pm–2:30pm, and 2:30-4:00pm. Riders must be at least 42 inches tall, and only one person is allowed per tube.

Single tubers – Riders must be at least 42″ tall and weigh no more than 300 pounds. Tandem tubers – Both riders must be at least 42″ tall. The combined weight of both riders must not exceed 400 pounds. Family-style tubing – Riders must be at least 36″ tall and each weigh no more than 300 pounds.

Therefore, in the absence of an organized ski area, it is crucial to pay close attention to safety details as observed by resorts and adhere to just as much as possible.
Hunter Mountain Beginner SkiingHunter One is the best place for beginners at Hunter. A cluster of green trails on the bottom half of Hunter One is serviced by the “C” and “E” lifts. The runs are gently sloped and when the crowds are reasonable, it's a great place to learn.
Hunter Mountain Skyride has the only six-passenger chair lift in New York, whisking visitors 3200 feet above sea level. On the clearest of days, you can even see the Berkshire Mountains in Massachusetts and the Green Mountains in Vermont. Seasonal, open May through October, weather permitting.
Windham has always been a more sedate and polished experience than Hunter, attracting more affluent skiers and snowboarders. Windham has the same 1,600-foot vertical drop (and nearly 100 percent snowmaking coverage) as Hunter but not as much terrain variety or challenge.
