The important thing to identify is the TC number on the particular respirator. A genuine N95 respirators should have all the below markings. Also using this TC number marking on the respirator you can go to the CDC website and search its validity.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) states a respirator can be reused as long as it “maintains its structural and functional integrity and the filter material is not physically damaged or soiled.”
