Leo then teamed up with the demon Zankou, who was also out to stop the Avatars in order to reverse Utopia. Leo sacrifices himself by starting a conflict with demons in order to convince the sisters of how the Avatars have taken away their free will, and subsequently their ability to feel grief.

As the Source, Cole is eventually vanquished by the Charmed Ones, only to come back from death itself in his attempts to win Phoebe back. By this point, he is one of the most powerful beings to ever exist. Driven insane, Cole is, through his own doing, once again killed by the sisters in the fifth season.
In Charmed: The Complete Seventh Season, the magical Halliwell sisters are called to travel back in time, protect the innocents from the deadly demon Sarpedon, and keep Zankou from claiming the powerful Book of Shadows.
In 2004, the Avatars attempted to create Utopia once more and convinced Leo Wyatt to join their cause. Seeking demon-free lives, the Charmed Ones agreed to create Utopia, though they were opposed by Kyle Brody and the demon Zankou.
Drake was eventually freed and his powers were restored after the Charmed Ones vanquished the Sorcerer with help from Miss Donovan. Paige then hired him as the new Literature professor and Drake informed Phoebe that he only had two more weeks to live.
