A Guide to the Best Warframes For Beginners – Making Your First Choice Seems Scary, It Doesn't Have to Be!
- Excalibur. Excalibur is, surprisingly enough, a Warframe based around a sword.
- Rhino. Rhino is more or less what you would expect.
- Volt.
- Loki.
- Atlas.
Umbra is a direct and massive upgrade from Prime. NOTE :: Umbra Mods are still Rank 5, the base rank they come as - so not even upgraded yet. - 12 remaining mod slots (Excalibur Prime has 4 remaining - no Exilus Mod) - this allows for Power Drift (21% total extra Ability Strength).
A) Yes, Umbra is great. B) Umbra is the best version of Excalibur. C) If you don't want to play The Sacrifice, trying to avoid obtaining Umbra, but want to play any story quest past The Sacrifice, you can't. Basically, you have no say so in the aquisition of Umbra, as progression means aquiring him.
Ash is very good, yes. He's one of the few frames who can wipe out an entire room with ease even at level 100, due to the way finisher damage/bleed procs work (Ignoring armor). With ash you have double the HP at 1110, and double to armor as well with 150.
Ash: Ash isn't a complicated Warframe, but it is very good at killing things. Its ultimate will automatically slaughter everything it touches while you can do whatever you want. The only downside is a dull stealth ability.
As of May 2020 there's a total of 70 Warframe characters to choose from, 22 primes and 48 non-primes.
nidus is ridiculously good on endurance runs, definitely top 4 for long survivals, or elite sanctuary onslaught. short missions like capture and rescue and blah blah blah, hes not horrible but he doesn't really scale. I have purchased two frames with plat in 2000+ hours and haven't had a single regret.
The enemy cannot hit what he cannot see. The combination of speed and stealth makes Loki a potent option for running Spy missions. Loki's main blueprint can be purchased from the Market, and his component blueprints can be farmed from the Hyena Pack Assassination at the Psamathe node on Neptune.
Warframe dps would be saryn, equinox and volt. Best DPS frames regardless of weps, imo, would be Gara, Saryn, Mesa, Equinox, or Octavia. Due to their map clearing abilities and / or their scaling DPS. And if you're looking for a caster feel to a frame maybe try Ember, Nyx, Banshee, Mag, or Nova.
Equinox is VERY much worth it. The downside, as with any frame, is that if you want to pile a bunch of maxed mods on her, you need to forma her three or four (five if you're using the new utility slot) times. The upside is that she is, by far, the most balanced Warframe in this game right now.
Capacitance is great for those focusing on shields (mainly normal Volt because he lacks the energy pool for Quick Thinking) and Shocking Speed is pure fun. It's also incredibly good when it comes to melee-orientated builds.
Chroma. Chroma can be exceptionally versatile thanks to his passive, Elemental Alignment, which alters his abilities depending on the cosmetic color you apply to him before missions.
Octavia is generally considered to be one of the strongest frames in the game. Octavia is the best of all frames since it does everything well(CC/AoE DMG/High survivability), because of that, after a while, she becomes boring since it trivialize most of the content of the game by going AFK.

Warframe: The 10 Most Powerful Warframes, Ranked
- 1 Saryn: The Viral Epidemic Frame.
- 2 Mesa: Intergalactic Gunslinger Frame.
- 3 Chroma: The Draconian Eidolon Hunter.
- 4 Gara: Glass-Focused Frame That Isn't So Fragile.
- 5 Mirage: This Overpowered Jester Must Be A Joke.
- 6 Ash: The Sneakiest Of Frames.
- 7 Titania: Bite-Sized Woodchipper Of A Frame.
Limbo has good squad synergy he is best overall with a group you can talk with. He works best with caster frames or volt, banished allies that cast still deal damage, while volt drops his shield and people can shoot out of the void.
Rhino: There is a reason that Rhino is a great choice for new players: it is a true beast of a Warframe and is one of the most resilient in game. They can take an obscene amount of damage and only get better at doing so as they level up. The only real downside is that they aren't a very flashy Warframe.
Banshee is pretty good yeah. All frame a pretty usable imo, there aren't any frames that are absolutely bad in all conditions, some are obviously stronger and banshee would be one of the good ones. She mainly has 2 builds 1 built for her 4 with its augment resonating quake and build for str dur and efficiency.

Ash Prime Relic Farming
You can get them from completing missions in the Void, The Plains of Eidolon, or Orb Vallis. For the Void mission, just load into the missions as usual through your Navigation screen. When you complete a rotation, you will have the chance to receive one of the unvaulted Relics as a reward.Vauban is good, but not great. He is a master of crowd control and not a whole lot else. If you're new enough to the game, getting Vauban Prime is going to be a grind you're probably not prepared for.
How hard is the Nidus farm ACTUALLY. It's not hard, it just takes time. From what I've seen doing it with more people takes longer than with less people.
Grendel is the first Warframe whose component blueprints are obtained from exclusive mission nodes, which requires Vitus Essences and, in turn, Arbitrations.
Included is every new prime and non-prime frame (as some call them) as well their release date and gender. You can also see what the next prime is speculated to be. As of May 2020 there's a total of 70 Warframe characters to choose from, 22 primes and 48 non-primes.
