Domestic brews, such as Budweiser, Coors Light and Miller Light, once dominated the US beverage market. But sales are declining while alternatives are spiking. And beer is to blame: Sales of a case of beer declined 1.5%. For the past five years, beer volume in the US declined 2.4%, the firm said.
Budweiser has overtaken Bud Light to become the most valuable beer brand in the world, according to new rankings from Brand Finance. Worth $7.5bn, the Anheuser-Busch brand's value has increased 6%, attributed to its global sponsorship campaign with the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Abstract. The number of breweries in Canada has risen from 10 in 1985, which were owned by three companies, to over 640 in 2015 with the clear majority considered microbreweries. The sales of craft beer have risen tenfold in the last decade, and it now accounts for 6% of the Canadian market.
Canada is not set up like the states where you can buy your beer almost anywhere. In Canada, all beer and liquor is sold through specialized stores - with the exception of the Province of Quebec, where beer and wine may be sold from grocery stores, and small convenience stores much like the USA.
