Psyshock inflicts physical damage. Despite being classified as a special move, this move calculates damage using the user's Special Attack and the opponent's Defense stat (similar to Psystrike and Secret Sword).
Psychic (Japanese: ??????? Psychokinesis) is a damage-dealing
Psychic-type move introduced in Generation I. It was TM29 in Generation I through Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon and TM40 in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!.

| Type | Psychic |

| Category | Special |
| PP | 10 (max. 16) |

Psystrike inflicts damage. Despite being a special move, Psystrike uses the target's Defense instead of its Special Defense to calculate damage. Psystrike is still a special move. It uses the user's Special Attack to calculate damage.
Future Sight fails when used if the target is already set to be hit by Future Sight or Doom Desire. Future Sight can hit the Pokémon that used the move. If Future Sight misses, the miss will not occur until the third turn, and the game will display that the move "failed" rather than "missed".
Psywave inflicts a random amount of damage, varying between 1 damage and 1.5× the user's level. In a link battle, the damage dealt varies between 1 damage and 1.5× the user's level on the user's side, and between 0 damage and 1.5× the user's level on its opponent's side in a link battle.
Even at the same level, Psychic Mewtwo is only 6% more damage-efficient than Future Sight Alakazam. Two of them even resist Psychic.
Psychic or Psyshock is much better for competetive, but in-game, you might even try both, but more often than not the battle will be over before Futire Sight has even taken effect. Overall, using Future Sight is not advisable. Future sight can hit dark types too cause it hits with typeless power.
Future Sight seems to be more used for either forcing a switch, or trapping an opponent within a set turn now thanks to that damage spike. Psychic, is more the offensive heavy choice, assuming you aren't using Psystrike/etc. to try and attempt to break walls.
With Jirachi data mined, Doom Desire is a ridiculously strong PvP move. Not sure it's going to stay like this, but Jirachi might become really good and with a perfect research Jirachi coming in at 1399 cp, everyone should get the chance to use one.
Psychic terrain means moves with priority don't work at all if they target a grounded enemy, not that they lose their priority. You can taunt indeedee with a non-prankster user, but not with a prankster user.

Psychic. In a vacuum, Psystrike is more powerful Charge Move than Psychic as it has a higher DPS*DPE value. DPS (Damage Per Second) is how much damage an attack does over time, and DPE (Damage Per Energy) is how much damage an attack does per energy cost.
Focus Blast is a special attack in the main series. Most fighting Pokémon are physical attackers and it wouldn't make sense for them to know that move. And yes it is a special move that is generally learned by non fighting types so they can have type coverage.
Psychic and Psybeam are equally accurate, but the former is nearly 40% more powerful and seems like the obvious choice. Meanwhile, Psychic has a 33% chance to lower the enemy's Special. This is the relevant defensive stat for subsequent Psychics, so this move literally gets stronger the more it is used.
Confusion vs.Psybeam is more powerful than Confusion and has an equal chance of confusing the victim. Confusion has 5 more PP, but 20 PP is still a lot and you'll get more damage out of 20 Psybeams than 25 Confusions.
Crunch (Japanese: ????? Crunch) is a damage-dealing Dark-type move introduced in Generation II. It is TR32 in Generation VIII.
Psychic is much better then Psywave. It has 100 accuracy and has a good solid attack strength. It also is a TM which makes it much easier to have then Psywave.
