The median study score is the middle score when all the study scores obtained by students of their school are ranked from highest to lowest, and so it represents a "typical" level of achievement in the school.
A+ -90-100% A -80-90% and so on, how does it work in VCE, some guy told me A+ is 80%+? Its not that simple. Initially your teacher may give you an A+ for something around 85%, however any sac marks you get can go up or down based upon your classes exam scores.

VCE graduates are considered to be more academically prepared to study a higher education (HE) degree compared to VCAL graduates. VCAL graduates are traditionally better suited to pursuing vocational study options (VE/TAFE) and should consider seeking admission to TAFE pathway courses for their preferred degree.
Firstly, SACS actually do matter very much. The SACs given throughout the year are used to rank the students in each class. Based on this ranking, the study scores for each of their subjects may go up or down.
Hardest: Legal Studies; workload can be crazy, you'll have no idea what exactly the questions require for full marks unless you have a good teacher, scales down. Easiest: Specialist; fun, very straightforward, learn concepts and practice for exam, much narrower than methods.

Nope. Not at all. Your ATAR is a combination of your marks from the HSC exams and your assessment marks from year 12 only. Also, if you think you might not finish your HSC and will want a RoSA (Record of School Achievement) then yeah, your year 10 and year 11 marks will be part of that.
These guidelines suggest that year 10 to 12 students should spend between 90 minutes and three hours on study each weeknight, and up to six hours at the weekend during peak VCE periods. The Victoria University researchers define homework as study done outside school hours.

However, one bad exam isn't the end of the world. Also, what you receive as your internal mark depends on how well your cohort performs, so even if you aren't ranked so well in your school, you can still end up with an amazing internal mark as long as both you and your peers perform great in the actual HSC exams.

While the VCAA states the attendance must be at 50 hours, the school is rarely overruled if they say you pass. If the school sticks to it's stated policy you will fail, and there is no appeal process. VCAA imposed new rules from last year on attendance for those of you saying it wasn't like this when I did it.

A student with a study score of 40 has performed better than about 91% of all students who did that study. What this means is that the middle student in any study will have a study score of 30, regardless of how strong the other students were in the study and how difficult it was to achieve the middle ranking.
