Considering other Colleges, yes Kiit is worth joining, but you gotta beware ! It is you only who will suffer if you only bunk classes, be hanging around with a girl all the time , wasting time playing CSGO or whatever other time wastages you may be doing, accordingly you will have a future so remember this point .
As mostly IT companies come to recruit from KIIT,CSE placements in KIIT is good(compared to other branches at least). The average package ranges from 3.5-4 lpa and there is almost 95% placements(taking only those eligible for placement into consideration).

- kalinga university is situated in naya raipur area .The best way is to hire a ola or uber cab.You can also go by city bus but their frequency is not good.

KIIT is a good college,no doubt. Ps-In case a student doesn't get VIT/Manipal/SRM or lower NITs,He or she can opt for KIIT. It's not a bad college either.It has good decent placements. Many of my friends are studying there.
KIIT is well known for the CSE Branch. I dont know how other universities are, but KIIT has a very good and well experienced faculty. They are helpful and source of a lot knowledge. HERE I'LL TALK ABOUT THE CSE BRANCH AND THE PLACEMENT OF KIIT .
KIIT takes some good amount of money during admission and provide you one of the best laptop. KIIT has one of the most placement records in India. Last year School of Engineering (Btech programs) recorded 92% placement.. A lot of students got placed in 3-4 companies.
KIIT,I personally feel is a much better option. In my point of both colleges are equal in all respect except all India rank in which VIT has a good rank compare to KIIT, but rank of the college won't matter if your doing a bachelor degree. In placement wise both colleges are same.
Tier 1- All top 7 IITs,including iit Hyderabad,iit indore. Jadavpur University,IIT-BHU,BITS Pilani Campus,DTU. Tier 2-Remaining IITs,Remaining NITs,University of Calcutta University of Hyderabad,BIT Mesra,BITS (Goa and Hyd),VIT and SRM (Main Campuses).
As a matter of fact it is the mother institute [1]of several Institutes of National Importance including Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D) ,SPA,FMS etc. Hence, it is a Tier 1 college for sure !

KIIT UNIVERSITY
It's better then other private colleges out there. World class facilities and great infrastructure provides best support to the students. Its situated in heart of odisha. I had very enjoyable college life in KIIT UNIVERSITY.Manipal is an old college while KIIT has not even completed its 20 years of its existence. But still KIIT has been achieving successes at more speed comparing to Manipal. The choice is yours as both have similar accreditation. KIIT has better accreditation than of NAAC(highest among self-financed institutes).
SRM University is the worst engineering college for north Indians.
