Final instrumentation image: is taken with the final sizes files in all canals receiving treatment. Root canal completion image: taken of the completed canal filled after the tooth has been temporized and the dental dam removed.
A paper point is inserted into the canal to absorb the irrigating solution and to dry the canal. A broach is a thin, flexible, tapered metal hand instrument. The Hedstrom file can be used for final enlargement of the canal after a Gates-Glidden bur or a Pesso reamer has been used.
2 Working length radiograph: A periapical image is exposed. This image determines the length of the canal. It is easier to detect canal length with the file remaining in the tooth.

The Benefits and Importance of Dental Implants
Dental implants do much more than replace missing teeth. They help maintain and strengthen bone structure, provide the ability to chew healthy food, and give patients the confidence to smile. They also protect existing teeth by helping to preserve bone structure. Two surgical procedures are typically required, but if additional bone or space is needed to make an implant site viable, then additional procedures such as a bone graft and sinus lift will be necessary and can extend the timeline to a year or more in total.
