LYNX operates seven days a week. Weekday service operates from 5:26 a.m. to 1:26 a.m. and service is available every 10 minutes during weekday rush hour and every 15 minutes during non-peak hours. Weekend service operates every 20 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes during late night hours.

Take any animal onto a vehicle unless its purpose is to assist a person with a disability or in training activities. Standing, sitting or lying within 2 feet of the edge of the rail station platforms except for boarding and exiting the light rail vehicle.
You can buy a one-way ticket or an all day/round trip ticket for Link light rail or Sounder at all Link light rail stations and Sounder stations. You can pay with cash or a credit/debit card. Of course, the easiest way to pay is with an ORCA card.
Fares range from $2.25 to $3.50, depending on time of day. If you're already downtown and need to hop a ride a few blocks, the fare is 50¢ in the Downtown Zone. Look for buses marked “Free Ride†and pay no fare when boarding along Nicollet Mall.

Charlotte is an Amtrak station located at 1914 North Tryon Street, about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to the northeast of Uptown Charlotte. Owned by Norfolk Southern, it is located near that railroad's yard outside Uptown.
What is it? The Charlotte Rail Trail is described as “a vibrant public park that winds through the very heart of our city.†Specifically, it's a 4.5-mile urban trail located alongside the Blue Line from 7th Street Station in Uptown to New Bern Station in Sedgefield.
