At 0.50 lbs the Ethic Merrow fork is the lightest on earth. The Ethic Merrow Fork integrates steel spacers for more durable rolling, and a headset ring to make it easier to mount on decks with integrated headsets. Compression bolt is included for SCS & HIC compatibility.
Identify if your headset is Press Fit or IntegratedPress Fit headsets have headset bearing cups sitting between the frame and the bearing. With integrated headsets the bearings sit directly in the frame with nothing between. An Integrated headset is just a pair of bearings and a star fangled nut and top cap.
Integrated headsets use cartridge bearings that fit inside a head tube that's shaped specifically to hold them. The frame acts as a cup for bearings that you can just slot in and lift out without the need for any special tools.

However, first of all, you must know how to install an SCS compression system! Traditionally, an SCS system consists of the clamp, an optional shim if needed, the compression cap, the compression bolt, and 4 clamp bolts.

SCS Compression: One of the original compression systems, invented by Andrew Broussard at Proto Scooters. It has become the most popular compression system on the market and is easily the most reliable. SCS Compression stands for Standard Compression System.
An integrated deck is designed with the headset “cups” already built into their design. An integrated headset is easier to install and uninstall, as it does not require the fitting of headset cups. It has become a common thing for scooter decks to come with integrated headset cups.
Bearings come in different sizes, but the most common sizes used are 22mm or 608s ones. They are able to fit the wheels of different kinds of products, from scooters to skateboards and even medical walkers.
More traditional scooters have a rotating wheel at the front which leads to a loss of stability as soon as the child turns the handle bars. The Mini Micro scooter wheels swivel when the child leans to one side, quickly enabling children to develop balance, coordination and motor skills.
