You can get DTU Delhi if you belong to Delhi Region and Your Category is OBC/ SC/ST. You can get all stream except Computer Engineering and Information Technology, EE, ECE, Mechanical Engineering. If you belong to General Category or Outside Delhi Region then it is almost impossible to get admission into DTU.

ECE from DTU would be a better option than CSE at VIT. The fees of DTU is very minimal as compared to VIT. Placement is top-notch in DTU even for the ECE branch. It depends upon you if you're interested in Computer science then you can go with VIT but ECE also has a good scope.
There is no such criteria to get admission in DTU without giving Jee mains as you will have to qualify for Jee with decent score. So if you wish to get seat in DTU then it is advisable to crack Jee with good marks and apply for JAC Delhi counseling.

You have to score good in JEE Mains as well as board exams and then there are decent chances for you to claim a seat. So all the best for future. MAM (or AE) branch have around 90 students in their batch.
