According to OSHA, the scaffolding must be tied off at specific intervals as you go vertically up the wall. For the purposes of this post, “tie off†includes (guys, ties and braces). 5' wide, the initial tie off must be at 20'.
The type of scaffolding being used is rated as light-duty, or 25 pounds per square foot. Multiply 35 square feet by 25 pounds per square foot and the scaffolding can be loaded with no more than 875 pounds.

A baker scaffold is relatively smaller than other types of scaffolds used on construction sites, with a length of about 6 feet and a width of less than 3 feet.

Much of the official health and safety advice states that, for any domestic roof repairs, scaffolding is needed. But scaffolding can seem unnecessary for small one-man jobs, so in these cases, it is often considered perfectly acceptable to use a ladder that is safely secured.
Setting Up Scaffolding on Uneven GroundSet a 2×10 block of wood under each leg, even when using a base plate. This will help prevent sinking into soft soils or hot asphalt. Setting the scaffold on blocks when working on concrete isn't necessary, but it's still a good idea.
The cross braces shall be of such length as will automatically square and align vertical members so that the erected scaffold is always plumb, level, and square.

- Supported Scaffolds.
- Aerial Lifts.
The biggest difference between scaffolding steel support and wooden support is on using different materials, steel support generally is tilted connected component, the most common is chevron and cross, in the shape of cross section forms can be steel, H section steel, Angle steel, etc., is used to improve the stability
For a four-point suspension scaffold, you can be tied off to the suspended scaffold itself (given that the manufacturer has included an approved anchor point). However, when suspended in a scaffold, it's best to achieve an independent, separate tie-off.
Scaffolders erect and dismantle scaffolding to provide work platforms on building and industrial sites, and for temporary structures such as staging and seating. You can work as a Scaffolder without formal qualifications. Some on the job training may be provided. A certificate III in scaffolding might be helpful.
To provide stability for a scaffolding (at left) framework ties are generally fixed to the adjacent building/fabric/steelwork. A vertical inside tube crossing the opening is attached to the scaffold by a transom and a crossing horizontal tube on the outside called a bridle tube.
