Top Choice: Creality CR-10 S4It has proven to be a reliable machine, and the larger 400 x 400mm bed opens up significant options for larger 3D prints. There are a few downsides to the CR-10 S4.
Is there is something I need to get to print with carbon fiber infused filament and polycarbonate? The CR-10 hothead, and it's variants, are good to around 245-250C, which is at the lower range for polycarbs, so printing with those may be problematic.
You can use PLA filament for a wide range of applications, and it comes in an equally diverse range of composites and colors. But with all of that variety, it can be tough to discern which filaments are created by reliable manufacturers and are of good quality.
Materials. Creality Ender-5 prints with PLA, ABS, TPU, WOOD, COPPER and other exotic materials. The MK10 extruder reduces the risks of filament jamming. It also comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials.

The CR-10S (the new version of the CR-10) already has a bootloader installed. If you have a CR-10S, this guide is unnecessary.
The easiest way to identify what one you have is if it has a filament sensor or not. If it does then you have a CR-10S machine. If it does not then it is a CR-10.
This WILL NOT work on the Ender 3, Ender 3 PRO, Ender 4, CR-10S PRO, CR-20, CR-20 PRO or CR-X. All of these machines are 24V and require 24V components.

The Creality Ender 5 is one of those low-cost printers under $500 that really delivers when it comes to top-quality prints. The Ender 5 3D printer is a very well-designed device, with faster printer, and more build volume than it's predecessors. If you can afford it, it's worth the additional investment long term.

- Download the gcode to an sdcard.
- Put in in the printer, select and print the gcode.
- The print will quickly finish and the part cooler fan will spin up as part of the reset.

PETG is stronger, more durable and it prints better. It's also available in transparent colors. ABS is only necessary if you absolutely need the 100°C temperature resistance or its ability to be glued and painted.
