People can't contact you – If you are keen to meet someone, then hiding your profile is counteractive as you will not be able to contact anyone and they will not be able to contact you. It blocks everyone out – Some people choose to hide their profile if they have had a negative experience with one other user.
This feature is available to all paid subscribers, so others will be able to see when you've viewed them too. However, there's no indication of how many times a profile was viewed, or the exact time when the view occurred. When you have some new views, you'll see a pink dot to the left of the member's photo.
If you click on another member's profile and see a message that the profile is unavailable, it is usually because that member has chosen to take a break to pursue a relationship, or for other reasons has chosen to hide their profile.
The reason is generally one of four situations: the member in question has deleted or suspended their profile. you have hidden the profile in question. you have blacklisted the member or they have blacklisted you.
Find Connections on the upper toolbar in on your Match.com account page. Click on "All Connections." Each connection displays a photo and lists whether he or you initiated contact. For example, the note may read, "He winked at you." If the other member initiated contact, he holds a paid membership.
Tap on the “Profile” icon at the bottom of the screen. Tap on the gear icon at the top of your profile page. Under “Profile Visibility,” select the visibility you would like for your profile: Visible, Hidden, or Private Mode. When you select a new visibility option, the change will go into effect immediately.
The green dot on their main photo if it is a full dot with no hole in it means they are online now. If it has a tiny whole they were active within the hr or within 24hrs, the bigger the hole in the dot the longer it has been since they have been active on the site.
It will let the person you contact know that you are very interested in them and it will also make your profile much more visible to them over the next month.
If you see an empty yellow circle next to someone's name, it means that they have been online somewhere between 24 hours and 72 hours. If there is no dot or circle next to their name, it means that they haven't logged in for at least 72 hours, but possibly as long as 2 months.
A "super like" indicates that you *really* like another user, and your profile gets shot to the top of their stack of potential matches, so they can see that you've super liked them. You get just one super like a day, and they don't carry over.
Your other Recommended profiles might not follow all of those preferences, but they could still be a great match for you! Click the Heart icon to send them a Like, or click the "X" icon to see your next recommendation.
Like & MatchLiking someone shows that you're interested in them. You can see everyone who has liked you under 'Likes' and they also appear on your wall so you have the chance to like them back. If two people like each other, it makes a match.
When an account is suspended or deleted, the member's screen name disappears from all lists, and all of their personal information and their activity (sent and received messages, views, Likes, etc.) are deleted automatically.
You have blocked them, or they have blocked you. Your safety is our top priority, and it's possible we have deleted their profile because they broke our rules. If this has happened, we'll display a message to let you know.
