There has been little talk of an I Am Number Four sequel in the years since. D.J. Considering the amount of time that's passed since the release of the first movie, a direct follow-up is unlikely.
The Power of Six is the second book in the Lorien Legacies book series. It starts after the end of the first book in the series, I am number four, and without spoiling too much, you learn the back story of 7 and some of them meet up again.
Maren Elizabeth is one of the main protagonists, in The Lorien Legacies series. Number Six is sixth in line of the Nine Garde Children, who escaped from Lorien, during the Mogadorian attack.

As the Mogadorians continued to mistreat their planet and fail to do anything constructive about it before it was too late, they mounted an attack on the nearest planet, Lorien, in order to steal their resources to replace their own supplies, which were very low or had run out.
Book Biographies. Before Setrákus Ra arrives on Earth, John has many visions of him leaving Mogadore, and attacking him. When the rest of the Garde arrive, he says that Setrákus Ra is dead. Number Eight teleports to hug the fake Six, and Setrákus Ra stabs him.

Number Six has two notable Legacies: Novis (Invisibility) and Sturma (Elemental Manipulation), which she often uses to create powerful storms and lightning which can incapacitate her enemies. Like all Gardes, Six has the Enhancement and Telekinesis.

Who actually wrote I Am Number Four?
The planet Lorien is the homeworld of the Loric people. It is one of eighteen known planets capable of sustaining life, alongside Earth and Mogadore. The planet itself possesses a form of sentience - being both the source of the Garde's Legacies and the intelligence of the Cêpan.
John heals Malcolm instead of going after Ella. They all make their escape. Adam appears as John is leaving and they shake hands. The book ends with John saying "Okay Adam, you're going to help me win this war."
Number Eight, or Naveen, was a main character in The Lorien Legacies series. He was killed by Number Five, when he teleported in front of his blade, saving Nine in the process.

It is unknown exactly what happened to Sam after he was trapped in the Mogadorian base, however John had visions of him being tortured with molten liquid burning his skin. It is unknown if this actually happened or if Ra wanted John to see this.
They find Henri tied up in the basement. When one of the writers attacks Sam, John saves him with his Telekinesis. After interrogating one of the writers, they find out the Mogadorians are coming to take Henri. They quickly escape the Mogadorians and return to Paradise.
Legacies
- Being a Garde, Nine possesses enhanced strength (he has shown some immense strength, speed, agility, endurance and durability.
- Nine possesses Telekinesis, an ability that all Garde share.
- Nine develops this Legacy when attacked by Mogadorians at Maddy's apartment.
John declares that no one else dies in the war, and that they will kill until they win.
