The decision to exclude Hutton from the revival came after the Oscar-winning actor was accused of rape last year by former child actress Sera Johnston. Johnston told Buzzfeed that Hutton and a friend raped her at their hotel in 1983, when she was 14 years old.
After Johnston's accusation was made public, Hutton's then-current project Almost Family was canceled after one season. Leverage: Redemption was able to move forward with the rest of its ensemble cast, but due to the gravity of the allegations, Nate Ford will not appear again.
Parker gets cash, a bundle of non-sequential 100 dollar bills. Nate also gets Sophie a present, a silver bracelet with "your name here" engraved on it. This prompts Sophie to give Nate a hint as to her real name. This is the final episode of Season 3 to use the TNT Title Sequence.
In the series finale, Sophie and Nate decided to retire and live their own happy ending. Parker, Eliot and Hardison continued on and created Leverage International.
The series premiere of Leverage: Redemption reveals that Nathan Ford died about a year ago, leaving Sophie alone in their big house. It's there that she is first approached by the rest of the Leverage team, who suggest that helping victims find justice may help her keep her mind off her recent loss.

It seems more likely that the intent was for Parker to be somewhere between 14-17 in that scene. This means that producers started with Parker at basically the same age as Riesgraf (Born in 1978), but retconned her about 5-7 years younger somewhere between season 1 and season 3.
