In this ending Kotonoha kills Sekai on a train station overpass. This ending is reached when Makoto chooses Sekai but not completely abandoning Kotonoha which leads her to obsess over Makoto and go into Yandere mode to kill Sekai.
The anime has been adapted from a visual novel that goes by the same name and even though there are several spin-offs to the same, they follow an entirely different story. The other reason why we may never see its renewal is that there is no need for the creators to produce a new season.
All five stations in Japan that aired the School Days television series have preempted the anime's final episode this week, in light of a real-life axe murder of a Kyoto-area police sergeant allegedly by his daughter Tuesday.
School days is an ecchi harem* anime that is very different. This is the opposite of all those other terrible harem anime, as it actually has a story. Reason: since the characters affect the story, it goes in a certain direction. Kinda like an action plot where the villian wins and enslaves the world.
One day in his apartment, Makoto is then tragically stabbed to death by Sekai in his room. After discovering that she murdered Makoto, she flees the apartment. His body is later found by Kotonoha and she severs his head to bring it to the school rooftop.
The Visual NovelIn all five of Sekai's endings and two of Kotonoha's seven endings, Makoto loves his respective significant other and ends up with them.
Overall, the story is good and it is highly recommended to watch this anime for lovers of the sports genre.
School Days it pretty good like an anime fmv. I like it cause your choices feel like they matter and you can be an ass who get's what he deserves or make it out alright. It's a straight drama though expect no real comedy.
i think he's really in love with katsura, though he did fall for sekai. it was shown towards the end his repentance in what he did as he realized the reason behind his being playboy.
After being admitted to a hospital, Makoto announces to Sekai that he shall live with Kotonoha to help ease her spirits, only to discover later on that Sekai fatally stabbed Kotonoha so as to prevent her from harming Makoto further, much to his horror.
As for why I hate him, it's because he is a cheater. Of course most girls would hate him. I'm a male, I despise him. He had a perfect girlfriend, and he cheated, lied, manipulated, and pretty much abused everyone who cared about him.

Makoto's fate varies from ending up happily with a girl to getting himself or his loved ones killed. He can end up with Kotonoha, Sekai, Hikari, Otome, or Kotonoha and Sekai together. In one ending, he can have sex with various girls while regretting what his life has become.
Kotonoha Katsura is the yandere to Makoto Itou from School Days.
