It's called Google Play Family Library, and it works pretty similarly to how Apple's family share program operates. Last December, Google Play Music announced a family share plan at $14.99 per month for streaming music, which also works for up to six people.
You can sign up on the web or inside the Google Play app on your Android phone or tablet. Head to Account > Family and touch the Sign up button. The Google Play family library promises to offer a simple method of sharing purchases.
In the Google Play Store app, navigate to 'My apps & Games'. Within the Minecraft details page turn on 'Family Library'.
If you don't have one set up already, the Play Store will nudge you towards creating a Family Library Account. You'll be able to share your Play Pass with up to five members. Each person's downloads go to their own Google account, so no one gets another's installs.
Android platformOpen the Play Store app. In the top left, tap Menu > Account > Family > Sign up for Family Library. Follow the instructions on the screen to set up your Family Library.
Create a family with Google Assistant
- On your Android phone or tablet, say "Hey Google, open Assistant settings" or go to Assistant settings.
- Tap You Your People. Create family group.
- Follow the steps on screen to create your family group and add family members.
When you subscribe to Google Play Music, you can access the world's music ad-free through albums, charts, new releases, staff picks, and featured playlists. Subscribers in eligible countries also get access to YouTube Music Premium for no extra cost.
Choose the purchase approval settings for your
family members. The
family manager can see a list of all the purchases made using the
family payment method.
Payment options for the family manager
- Open the Play Store app .
- In the top left, tap Menu Payment methods. Change family payment method.
- Tap OK.
When you share music in your Google Play library, the people you share with can choose to listen to a preview of the song or purchase it. If you share music that's part of your subscription with another subscriber, they can stream your shared music.
Google has announced that the app will be shut down and replaced by the YouTube Music app, which has been available for a few years. Users will lose access to Google Play Music permanently "between October and the end of this year," according to an email sent to subscribers.
- Go to Google Play Music Settings.
- Under "Account," review your sign-up options.
- Select Start Free Trial or Subscribe. You'll see Subscribe if you've already used your free trial.

Add a payment method
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store app .
- Tap Menu. Payment methods.
- Under "Add payment method", select the payment method you want to add.
- Follow the instructions.
- The new payment method will be added to your Google Account.

Google has made its streaming music service Google Play Music free to use, without a subscription. The catch is that you'll have to listen to ads, similar to the way free versions of Spotify and Pandora (P) work. Launching a free version of Google Play Music comes as no surprise.

You can download Any app by visiting Google Play store on your personal Computer. You can easily install any app without login into your Gmail Account.
Check that your card address matches the address in Google Payments. If your credit card is registered to a different address that can cause the payment to be declined. Check the zip code matches your current address. Sign in to google.com with your Google Account.
A sample of stores that accept the payment include: Restaurant and fast food chains such as Jamba Juice, Jersey Mike's, Jimmy John's, Baskin Robbins, McDonald's, and White Castle. Retailers like Gamestop, Disney Store, Best Buy, Kohls, and Petsmart. Gas stations such as Chevron, Texaco, and ExxonMobil.
Add a bank account
- Check to make sure that your bank works with UPI. If it doesn't, your bank account won't work with Google Pay.
- Open Google Pay .
- In the top left, tap your photo.
- Tap Add bank account.
- Choose your bank from the list.
- If you have an existing UPI PIN, you'll be asked to enter it.
Find the Google Play Store app
- On your device, go to the Apps section.
- Tap Google Play Store .
- The app will open and you can search and browse for content to download.
If you're using the mobile app on an Android device, you can easily tap your phone to pay anywhere that has a contactless payment terminal. Hold the device one to two inches away from the payment reader, enter your Wallet pin (if you set one up) and let the cashier know you are paying with credit.
