The Gatwick Long Stay North parking will probably be most useful if you want an on-airport Gatwick car park which is near to the terminal building, meaning the transfer time is minimal. Alternatively, you can use the Summer Special car park situated a little further away from the North terminal.

If you're in a vehicle over 1.8m high, then you will need to park in our designated high sided vehicle parking areas, as you can't park over height vehicles in the regular short stay car parks. Alternative parking is available at the North Terminal long stay car park.

COVID-19 travel updateAll flights are currently operating to and from our North Terminal only. Please wear a face covering at the airport.
Charges will start at £5 for 10 minutes for a quick goodbye or a well-timed pickup. Every additional minute after that will cost £1 and will be capped a total added time of 20 minutes. Therefore the maximum charge for a 30-minute stay will be £25.
A handy option, there are Express Pick Up areas located at both terminals in the Short Stay car parks. You will find the Express Pick Up areas on Level 0 of the South Terminal and on Level 1 or Car Park 6 in the North Terminal.
Park, pick someone up or drop them offThere are drop-off and pick-up points with dropped kerbs not far from the station entrance. There are also car parks at Gatwick Airport, London Victoria and Brighton stations. While most stations have dropped kerbs and step-free access to the platform, not all do.
Your flight will land at the South Terminal, which is also where the train station is. When booking a taxi from Gatwick, I generally book it about 30 minutes after expected arrival time - and that tends to work out almost perfectly (even with luggage).

Getting from Gatwick Airport to LondonGatwick Airport train station is just outside the South Terminal. A shuttle bus runs every 3 minutes from the North terminal and the journey takes 2 minutes. Booking well in advance using Trainline will allow you to find the cheapest fares.
The pick up /drop off point is in the car park on Eccleston Bridge Road. Access is via Bridge Place, Belgrave Road or Bulleid Way. Sat nav / route finder postcode: SW1W 9SJ. There is no charge as long as the driver remains with the vehicle.
The Gatwick Express is a direct train service into central London. Trains run every 15 minutes between Gatwick Airport's South Terminal and London Victoria Station every day from 5am to 12.30am. The journey time is 30 minutes and the service is non-stop to Victoria station.
