Docking and TerminalAfter a major redevelopment in 2011, the old docking area was officially renamed Historic Falmouth Cruise Port and is now a large retail shopping complex. The port has a triangular shape with two piers at an angle, the exit for both at one end and the exit to the town at the southern side.

Dogs are only allowed on beaches in Harwich during the offseason. Dogs not allowed on harwich beaches during the summer season, which ranges from Memorial Day – Labor DAY each year.
On all other public beaches in truro, dogs are allowed in the offseason only. You can take your dog to the beach from Labor Day to the 2nd Saturday in June, but only before 9am and after 6pm. Pets are not allowed in areas protected due to plovers nesting.
