- Select your model on the left side of this page.
- Select the “Drivers & Downloads” tab.
- Select the “Software” tab.
- Find the “EOS Utility” and click the “SELECT” button.
- File description will open and click “I have read and Agree to terms…”
Part 3Connecting Your Camera to Your Computer
- Make sure your computer is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
- Turn on your camera.
- Press the "Playback" button.
- Open the Wi-Fi menu.
- Enter a camera nickname if prompted.
- Select the "Computer" icon.
- Select Add a Device….
- Select your computer's network's name.
Connecting Your Digital Camera:
- Turn your computer on.
- Connect the cable to the USB port on your digital camera.
- Plug into your computer's USB port.
- Turn on the camera.
- Open your media management software.
- Select a folder to receive your photos.
- Turn off and disconnect the camera.

Canon EOS (Electro-Optical System) is an autofocus single-lens reflex camera (SLR) and mirrorless camera series produced by Canon Inc. Introduced in 1987 with the Canon EOS 650, all EOS cameras used 35 mm film until October 1996 when the EOS IX was released using the new and short-lived APS film.
Canon's Digital Photo Professional (DPP) is a free, and surprisingly powerful, image organising and editing application that ships in the box with every EOS camera. You'll find DPP on the EOS Digital Solution Disk alongside other very useful Canon developed software, such as EOS Utility.
The serial number on an EOS-1D Mark IV camera is situated on the camera's base plate (bottom). The serial number is usually in white numbers on the camera's base plate. Canon's tilt and shift (or TS-E) lenses have their serial numbers on the side of the lens barrel near to lens' electronic mount.
Download and install the IJ Scan Utility
- Go to the Canon Support page.
- Enter your scanner model in the search box.
- Select your model from the drop-down list, then select Go.
- Under Drivers & Downloads, make sure your operating system is selected in the dropdown.
Launch the iPhoto app on your Mac, click the “File” button, then “Import to Library.” Select the Canon Rebel camera under “Devices,” then select all the photos on the camera that you want to import into iPhoto. Note that you can hold down the “Command” button on your Mac to select multiple photos at once.
How to Use DSLR Camera as a Webcam
- Download and install SparkoCam. Download installation package and run SparkoCamSetup.exe.
- Connect camera to PC using USB cable. First thing you need to do is to plug-in your camera's USB cable into computer.
- Turn camera on.
- Launch SparkoCam.
- Choose SparkoCam Virtual Webcam as a source web camera in your chat application.
To help to put you in control of your colour, Canon has developed Picture Style Editor, a software program for use by photographers who want to have the most creative control of the colours in their images. It allows you to create your own personalised Picture Style files to achieve the look you want in your images.
EOS Utility is software for communication with your EOS DIGITAL camera. By connecting the camera and computer, you can download to your computer images saved in the. camera's memory card as well as set various camera settings or shoot remotely from EOS Utility on your computer.
If you use Mac OS X, click the [EOS Utility] icon registered in the Dock. If a screen for selecting the program (application) appears, select [Downloads images EOS camera]. (If you use Windows XP, select [Canon EOS Utility] and then click [OK].)

choose connect then go into control panel (I use Windows) go to Network and Internet. Then choose view network computers and devices. You should see Canon T6i(s) in the media devices section. Right click on the camera device (mine says Canon EOS Rebel T6i) and select open media player.

EOS Utility is an application that brings together functions to communicate with the camera. These functions include downloading and displaying images, remote shooting, and camera control for each setting.
To connect a camera to a computer via USB cable, first turn on the camera and computer or laptop. Connect the camera with the USB cable and wait for the computer to recognize it as a storage device.
