Bell's Crave streaming video service is now available on Roku devices and the Roku TV platform. Additionally, those with Roku streaming devices now have access to a 30-day free trial for new subscribers. Bell announced the 30-day free trial for new subscribers back in March amid the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The only devices introduced are the Roku Premiere model 3920 and Premiere+ model 3921, which are available in Canada. The only other refresh was the "update" to the Roku Ultra from model 4660 and 4661, and that was not any change to the actual box but the inclusion of new earbuds.
In addition to everything listed above, this subscription also includes access to hit movies and current HBO seasons, as well as six live streaming channels (Crave 1, Crave 2, Crave 3, Crave 4, HBO Canada and HBO Canada 2).
How to cancel Roku subscriptions on your Roku device
- Using your Roku remote, navigate to the channel you want to cancel and press the asterisk button.
- Select "Manage subscription."
- On the Manage subscription page, select "Cancel subscription." Confirm this is what you really want to do.
Android TV
- You can use your existing Crave account or a new Crave account to activate your device.
- Once you have an account, download Crave from the app store or marketplace of your device.
- Launch Crave on your device.
- Select any video to play or select the 'Sign In' button in the Account Management section.
Users who have subscribed through Crave.ca: If you're subscribing to Crave directly, the cost is $9.99/month (plus applicable taxes). There are additional costs for our add-on packages. The Movies + HBO add-on costs an additional $9.99 (plus applicable taxes).

Just open your Prime Video mobile app and tap on the cast icon at the bottom of the screen. Then select your Roku device to begin casting. Alternatively, you can mirror the screen of your Android or Windows device using select Roku devices.
Crave's strength is in TV series as it has the exclusive Canadian rights to HBO and Showtime's library of past programming. At last check (June 2020), Netflix had 1,622 TV shows and 3,995 movies with a total of 5,617 titles whereas Crave had 550 TV shows and 1,706 movies for a total of 2,206.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Since Crave is a pre-paid service, once you cancel, you have access to your subscription until the end of our current billing cycle. On your next renewal; 15th of the following month, your subscription will automatically cancel.
Starting August 13, 2019, Ignite TV customers can add their monthly Netflix subscription charge to their Rogers bill! Netflix Rogers Billing is eligible to the following: Rogers customers with accounts that include post-paid wireless services.
You must have the CraveTV + Movies + HBO package. The standard CraveTV package, which costs $9.99 a month, will not give you access to HBO. Only the CraveTV + Movies + HBO package priced at $19.98 a month will give you access to HBO.
You can watch TMN Encore movies through the On Demand menu on your set-top box or via the Rogers Anyplace TV app or Ignite TV app. I currently subscribe to Crave directly through my credit card and also subscribe to Crave + Movies + HBO through my Rogers cable TV package.
Bell's Crave streaming platform has been offering an extension of its free trial during the COVID-19 pandemic, but that deal is ending soon. Right now, new subscribers to the service online can get access to Crave free for 30-days when they sign up instead of the usual seven days.

The case for Crave: A basic Crave subscription is only $10, but that doesn't include new HBO episodes or the top-tier movie selections. For the good stuff, you'll need to shell out an extra $10 ($20 total) We'd argue it's worth it for Game of Thrones alone. The winner: Netflix.
Tune in to channel 1322 on Fibe TV or channel 1000 on Satellite TV, or select the On Demand tab on the Fibe TV app. Bell gives you the chance to preview select channels each month, free of charge. You can add channels to your programming at any time by logging in to MyBell.
With a Starz cable or satellite subscription, you can enjoy the included streaming service through the app for free. Without a subscription, you can stream from the Starz app as a standalone package for $8.99 per month.

- Go to my.roku.com from your computer or smartphone.
- If you are prompted, sign in to your Roku account.
- Scroll down and find My linked devices.
- Select the Pencil icon.
- When prompted enter a new name, or select a new location from the pull-down menu.
- Select Update to save the change.
