Balouve Mines is a dungeon in the Leide region in Final Fantasy XV. It is a multi-tiered mine where the player can take an elevator to travel between its four levels. It is on the way to Galdin Quay from the rest of Leide, and there is a parking spot outside the mines.
The recommended level to visit this location is 50. There's a Royal Tomb hidden in Balouve Mines, with the Bow of the Clever weapon inside of it.
Mace of the Fierce: The Mace of the Fierce is hidden at the end of the Rock of Ravatogh dungeon, which you should be about level 30 in order to beat. Once you reach the top of the mountain, drop down into the massive bowl-shaped canyon area immediately following the campsite.
Lock on to Aramusha with R1/Right Bumper and hold down Circle/B to shoot him. Keep these buttons held down and DO NOT MOVE. After a while, (and the boss is at critically low health) if your teammates are down, revive them from the ledge, then finish off the boss and the chunk of EXP is yours!
Head to the north-west of the Vesperpool and you'll quickly discover the Myrlwood. Head inside and you'll be in a dense thicket. Make your way to the south-west corner of the area to find a path. This path will split off to a campsite that you can use at your leisure, but otherwise press on to the next area.
To unlock the Regalia Type F, you have to clear out three Imperial bases. Two of these are integral to completing the game's main story - so play through them, building up your party's experience and AP which will come in handy for the third base - to receive two key items, the Warped Wings and Unstable Stabliser.
A list of the eight locked door dungeons with their recommended levels are as follows:
- Keycatrich Trench (recommended level 55)
- Fociaugh Hollow (recommended level 65)
- Glacial Grotto (recommended level 65)
- Daurell Caverns (recommended level 72)
- Balouve Mines (recommended level 78)
- Steyliffe Grove (recommended level 86)
One of the first you'll encounter is located in the Fociaugh Hollow dungeon where you complete the Ramuh Trial. It will be locked, with no explanation on how to open it. It turns out that you must first beat the main story of Final Fantasy XV, after which you'll be able to head to the Risorath Basin.
To enter Steyliff Grove, you must be at the entrace between the hours of 19 and 4. This dungeon takes a very, very long time. It will most likely take you multiple hours. It seems to have 100 floors.
Daurell Caverns is one of the smallest locations in the game when it comes to optional dungeons. There isn't a Royal Arm to collect here, although you can find an entrance to one of the high-level dungeons of the game (Menace).
No, also in the 13 minutes you've spent waiting for a response you could have googled it. I googled steyliff grove royal arm, multiple first page results were various gaming websites copy pasting lists of where all the royal arms are.
Meldacio Hunter HQ is an outpost located in the northwest of Cleigne, just east of the Vesperpool (which it is separated from by a blockade that lifts permanently after Chapter 7). Lestallum is to the southeast of the outpost.
The Menace Beneath Lucis side quest can only be obtained after beating the game and obtaining the Sealbreaker's Key. Ezma will reveal that there are eight deadly monsters sealed away under the grounds of Lucis.
Open the sealed. Noctis and companions have to defeat the serpent lying deep within Crestholm again. Then go down the stairs to the secret dungeon door in Crestholm.
Quest (Final Fantasy XV)/HuntsThe player could initially have only one hunt active at a time, but patch 1.17 adds an option to accept up to ten hunts at once. A completed hunt can be turned in to any tipster. Hunts can be repeated. Hunts can be done in Lucis and Altissia.
Ezma is a Character in Final Fantasy XV. She is an old woman who can be found in Meldacio Hunter HQ at end game. Speak to her to receive a series of Quests to unlock the sealed doors found within the game's Dungeons. Behind these doors lie some of the most powerful Weapons in the game.
Final attack: Sword of the Father - Noctis. Collecting all arms earns the Faithful Heir achievement/trophy.
Where to find the Royal Arms
- Sword of the Wise: Found during quest "Legacy".
- Axe of the Conqueror: Found during quest "The Power of Kings".
- Bow of the Clever: Found within the Royal Tomb at the Balouve Mines.
- Swords of the Wanderer: Found during quest "Sword in the Waterfall".
There are 13 Royal Arms in total — 7 are collected as you progress through the main game, while 6 are optional and can only be collected by exploring Royal Tombs and other dungeons. All the Royal Arms can be collected in the post-game. Location: Chapter 2 – Earned during “Legacy” main quest.
They are some of the best weapons in the game and the unique stat bonuses they offer alone are worth it. The main purpose of Royal Arms is to equip them for the additional attributes. Some uses Bow of the Clever with Ignis's Overwhelm. But that's about it.
No Royal Arm at the Crestholm Channels dungeon.
