Click the pencil icon in the upper right corner of the "Recent Activity" box and then select "Hidden Activity." A list of your recently hidden activities will appear. Click the "x" next to the tagged photo that you hid to remove it from the hidden activities. Click "Save" to save your changes.
Click the "Edit" button, and then select "Edit Settings" to open the Edit News Feed Settings dialog window. Facebook lists the friends you've hidden next to "Hide posts from" in the dialog window. Click the "x" button next to the name of the friend who you want to unhide.
Review all your posts and things you're tagged in
You can then remove the tag (click the dropdown arrow on the left of the post or photo and then click on the the Remove Tag button at the top of the page) or simply click Hide so they don't appear on your Timeline.How to unhide the post?

- Select the post and press on the three dots “…”:
- Select “Show on profile”:
- Your Instagram post will reappear where it used to be in your feed, before you hid it. It will not appear at the beginning of your feed, like a brand new post would.
Hide a Post on Your Timeline or News Feed
You can hide any post that you or anyone else made on your profile's timeline by clicking the icon in the upper right corner of the post and clicking "Hide from timeline." To unhide a post you've hidden, click "Activity Log" at the bottom of your large profile cover photo.Click Activity Log in the bottom right of your cover photo. Click Photos and Videos in the left column. Select Public from the filter at the top of your activity log next to Shared with. You can also see only the photos you've hidden on your timeline by selecting Hidden from the filter at the top next to On Timeline.
Locate Activity Log by clicking the arrow head down at the top right side.
- At the left hand side of the 'Activity Log' page, select 'Other's posts to your timeline'
- After step 3, you will now see a list of many of your activities.
- Now simply delete this message and tell the person to now re-tag you in the post.
To unhide tagged photos in Instagram you must go to the photo, click your tagged name, and select “ Show on profile". Unfortunately, there is no efficient way to unhide tagged photos while in your own page.
To see the posts you've been tagged in, go to your own profile and click the person icon below your bio.
On Instagram, you can choose to manually or automatically allow posts to show on your profile. So, if your tagged photos are not showing up on Instagram, you may need to check: 'Photos of You' setting. Put it on 'Add Automatically' to add all the tagged photos automatically to your profile.
If you hide a post from your Timeline, your friend will not be notified that you hid the post.
Click on 'Most Recent at the top of the news feed. You will get a small arrow to the side of it that you can click to open up a drop down menu. Go to Edit Options and you will see the option for "Show Posts From" and change the setting to "All of your friends and Pages".
How to Unhide Things From Your Timeline

- Click "Posts You've Hidden" on the left sidebar to display a list of all posts you've hidden and tags you've rejected.
When you hide a photo or post you're tagged in on your timeline, or adjust yourtimeline and tagging privacy setting, this only limits who can see the content on yourtimeline. The photo or post is still visible to the audience it's shared with other places on Facebook, such as in News Feed or search.
How to Unhide Things From Your Timeline
- Click on your name in the Facebook menu bar to view your profile, then click the "Activity Log" button in the lower right corner of your cover photo.
- Click "Posts You've Hidden" on the left sidebar to display a list of all posts you've hidden and tags you've rejected.
To view things you've hidden on your timeline:
- Go to your profile by clicking your name or profile picture at the top of Facebook.
- Click Activity Log in the bottom right of your cover photo.
- Click Hidden From Timeline in the left column to review.
On the Activity Log page, tap "Category" at the top of the page and scroll to choose "Hidden From Timeline." 5. After the page refreshes, find the post you want to unhide and tap the downward pointing arrow to the right. Tap "Show on Timeline."
Tap the right drop-down arrow next to any entry and select "Show on Timeline" to unhide the post or picture.
