Sadly, it might be time to throw that toy away for good. Decide which organization you'd like to donate your toys, stuffed animals, or games to. Check with places like the Goodwill, your local thrift shop, local shelters, preschools, churches, or hospitals.
Install the ceiling hooks according to the package directions.
- Hang the plastic chain on the hooks. Adjust the chain to the length of your liking.
- Clip the hooks onto the stuffed animals and hang on the chain. We did three vertical rows for the plush toy storage. Organize stuffed animals to your liking.
Place the stuffed animal in a pillowcase or mesh bag to protect it. Put it in with a load of dirty laundry, like towels or blankets. Set the machine to the gentlest cycle using warm water for added laundry disinfecting. Run it through the cycle.

Line a large cardboard box with packing paper, covering both the bottom and sides. Place the stuffed animals in garbage bags to protect them from moisture. Make sure each toy is dry before placing it in the bag, as any moisture can lead to mold. Tie the bag and place it into the box.
— To keep dust off your stuffed animal, once a week use your vacuum cleaner. Most home vacuum cleaners have a hose and brush attachment. Just go lightly over the stuffed animal with the brush. Make sure that items like eyes on the stuffed animal are secure before doing this.
