Two crystals will spawn in at the top of the portal, on the left and right sides. Shoot the crystals until they break and you will have activated the Witches' Ritual Heroic event. Once you break the crystals expect a flood of Thrall and other hive enemies followed by the Abyssal Champion.
In Destiny 2, triggering the Heroic version of the Vex Crossroads public event is relatively simple. Play through the event like normal, killing the Vex until the percentage hits 100. Once the Vex are dead and the Gatekeepers come out, choose a side and take them down.
The Cabal Excavation Public event requires the player to capture a Cabal drill. Note that there will be Cabal forces (Leguionary, Phalanx and Gladiators) within the area guarding it. This Public Event can be found in EDZ (the Winding Cove) and Io (Lost Oasis, the Rupture).
To trigger the Heroic version of the Ether Resupply Destiny 2 public event, you'll need to take out a couple of waves of smaller Servitors, called Transport Servitors. They only stick around for 20-30 seconds, and you must destroy them all, so have all members of your Fireteam divert attention to these fellas.
In order to trigger the Heroic version of the Disrupt Vex Construction public event, you'll need to look at the structure that the Vex are sacrificing themselves to. You'll notice streams of light emanating from it and reaching out to points that you can stand in and capture. Capture all of those points. That's it.
Finding the event on Titan is even easier than on Io. It'll typically be right beside Sloane on the first platform that you spawn in on. Just head to the marker on your HUD to find the rally flag, get yourself some ammo, and start the event.
Players can initiate Escalation Protocol by interacting with the bunkered towers located throughout Mars.
- Characters must have completed the Warmind campaign to initiate the activity.
- Once active, any character can participate, but lower level characters may find it extremely challenging.
This Heroic Public event is definitely higher up in the difficulty level. All you have to do though is shoot each of the vents, one on the top layer, then the middle, and then the very bottom/ground level vent.
To open them, however, players need to get something called the Rasputin Armory Code. The Rasputin Armory Code will drop from public events on Mars, which means that Guardians must grind the very events they need the codes to help them complete. The system is clearly rigged, but that's how it works.
A Public Event is a temporary event in Destiny and Destiny 2 that allows random players in public spaces to work together to complete a specific objective and earn experience and loot. Public Events can occur any time a player is in a public space regardless of the current activity.
Considering their ties to Public Events, Rasputin Armory Codes appropriately offer assistance during Escalation Protocol. Once you've saved up a few, you'll see little hatches spawn in the main Protocol area. Inside these hatches is the Valkyrie.
To activate the Ether Harvest Heroic Public Event, players must stop all the ether orbs from reaching the center area. These ether orbs spawn after taking down a Chieftain and move surprisingly quickly.
Shoot them until they are destroyed or sink into the ground as and when they appear. Once you've killed a bunch of them, a Blight will appear above the Rift Generator and three Taken Wizards will spawn. After killing them you will be teleported into the Ascendant Realm where the Heroic Event is triggered.
The Destiny 2 Glimmer Extraction Public Event involves the player going after Fallen enemies that are gathering glimmer in the area. The Public Event can be accessed in EDZ (Trostland, The Sludge, The Gulch, Firebase Hades) and Nessus (The Tangle, The Cistern, Glade of Echoes).
