Valve CSGO players are reporting an influx of cheaters since the Trusted mode update. Valve intended for their Trusted Mode to “significantly restrict the types of programs and files that can interact with the game” in an attempt to weed out cheaters using third-party apps.
Hacking has grown exponentially in CSGO, and it seems like it has become a million-dollar industry. To understand the hacking issue in the game we need to delve deeper into the underbelly of the industry.
Here's how to deal with a cheater.
- Take time for yourself.
- Gather your evidence.
- Get tested.
- Confront your partner.
- Don't blame yourself.
- Don't put a time limit on pain.
- Decide what you want from your relationship.
The players queuing with the hacker will get their rank revoked. They only need to win one game to get it back, however.
To report a cheater:
- Go to the user's Steam Community profile.
- Click on the large More button in the upper-right corner of the user's profile.
- Click on the "Report Violation" button in this dropdown menu.
- Select "Suspected Cheater", add a description (include the game and the name of the cheat if known), and hit "Submit"
Kicking others is quite an easy task, all you have to do is click Esc during the match > Call Vote > Kick Player > Choose the player. Now, keep it mind that this just calls for a vote. There is no guarantee that your teammates will feel the same way.
Does Getting Kicked in CSGO Affect Your Rank? Yes, it doesn't matter if you win or lose, your rank will be affected by the result even if the team kicks you.
It counts as a loss if you get kicked. Also, be aware that getting kicked to avoid a competitive ban is a load of hogwash. You will still get banned for getting kicked, and worse still, the people who kick you get a black mark against their name for initiating the kick if it occurs too much!
