Starting today, you can change your Apple ID from a third-party email service such as Gmail or Yahoo to an Apple domain… The company explains that if your Apple ID is currently associated with a Gmail or Yahoo email address, you can now switch to an@iCloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com account.
Setting up e-mail on Android

Go to click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.

Key Difference: The Apple ID and iCloud ID are accounts from Apple Inc. The Apple ID is used to log into the iCloud. In both the accounts, only Apple users can log in. The Apple Account and iCloud Account are two different accounts but can be accessed with the same e-mail ID.
If you set up iCloud using an Apple ID that doesn't end with @icloud.com, you must create an @icloud.com email address on your iOS device, iPadOS device, or Mac before you can use iCloud Mail. macOS Catalina 10.15: Click Apple ID, click iCloud, select Mail, then follow the onscreen instructions.

For Incoming Mail Server enter imap.one.com as Host Name. Enter your full email address as User Name e.g. . Enter your Password that you selected for the email account in the Control Panel. For Outgoing Mail Server enter send.one.com as Host Name.
iCloud Mail uses the IMAP and SMTP standards supported by most modern email apps. iCloud does not support POP. If you set up an account using iCloud System Preferences or macOS Mail in 10.7. 4 or later, you won't see these settings because they're automatically configured.

An iPhone's inability to send or receive emails can be caused by a variety of problems — it might be a lost connection with the server, an old stored password, or incorrect mail settings. Below are possible reasons why your email may not be working on your iPhone, and a few solutions to fix it.
Try to open apple.com in Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Go to iCloud.com on a Mac or PC to see if you can receive email for your iCloud email. Then send an email to your account to see if Push is working. On your device with iOS 10, tap Settings > Mail > Accounts > Fetch New Data, and turn on Push.
Good news is, you can access your iCloud email on Android. But the process is complex on Gmail — you need to add your iCloud account as IMAP, input incoming and outgoing SMTP server addresses, Port number, etc. All you get is the cluttered Gmail interface. Go to Settings > Email Accounts > Add More > iCloud.
