Press the Windows key, enter uninstall, select uninstall a program from the results listing and browse to the Microsoft Office 2013 or Office 365 listing. Right-click the program and select uninstall from the context menu. This works most of the time and all is good when it does.
All you need to do is uninstall your Office 2013 from your old computer and reinstall it onto the new computer from your Office Account. To uninstall Office>Control panel/Programs and features>Click on Office 2013>At top of the page click on uninstall.
Expand the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftOfficeDeliverySourceEngineDownloads" key and then delete the "0FF1CE}-" subkey. Expand the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersion" key. Expand the "Uninstall" key and then delete the "0FF1CE" subkey.
Step 1: Type Regedit in the Start menu search box and then press Enter key. Click Yes button when you see User Account Control prompt to open Registry Editor. Step 3: Select the Activation key. On the right-side, look for the entry named Manual, and change its default value to 1 to disable the automatic activation.
Uninstall Microsoft Office from Control Panel or SettingsSelect the version of Microsoft Office from the list and click the Uninstall button. You will be asked to confirm if you want to remove Microsoft Office from your computer. Click either the Yes or Uninstall button to proceed with the uninstallation.
Uninstall Office from Windows 10 using Settings
- Open Settings.
- Click on Apps & features.
- Select the Microsoft Office 365 installation, or the name of the suite you purchased like “Microsoft Office 365 Home,” or “Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019.”
- Click the Uninstall button.
- Click the Uninstall button again.
Right-click the subkey and then select "Delete" from the context menu. Return to "CurrentVersion," expand "Installer," and then right-click "Upgrade Codes." Click "Delete," then "Yes."
Method 1: Uninstall Microsoft Visio Professional 2013 via Programs and Features. When a new piece of program is installed on your system, that program is added to the list in Programs and Features. When you want to uninstall the program, you can go to the Programs and Features to uninstall it.
We recommend that you uninstall any previous versions of Office before installing Microsoft 365 Apps. To help you uninstall versions of Office that use Windows Installer (MSI) as the installation technology, you can use the Office Deployment Tool and specify the RemoveMSI element in your configuration.
If you decide to discontinue the use of one of your devices, get a new one, or decide you no longer want Microsoft Office installed, you can uninstall the applications and make available one of your free licenses to use on another device.
Alternatively, you can also:
- Open the Start Menu.
- Click on Settings.
- Click on System.
- Click on Apps & features in the left pane of the window.
- In the right pane, locate and click on the application you want to uninstall to select it.
- Click on Uninstall.
- Click on the Uninstall button that pops up.
When you uninstall Office it will NOT do anything to your personal files you created using the Office applications. The Normal, “method 1”, uninstall is designed with the assumption that you will be re-installing Office. It does NOT delete everything.
To remove a Microsoft account from your Windows 10 PC:
- Click the Start button, and then click Settings.
- Click Accounts, scroll down, and then click the Microsoft account you would like to delete.
- Click Remove, and then click Yes.
Go to www.office.com and if you're not already signed in, select Sign in. After signing in, follow the steps that match the type of account you signed in with. From the Office home page select Install Office. Select Install (or depending on your version, Install Office>).
Re-install:
- From Start select Settings to launch Windows Settings.
- From Windows Settings choose Apps. (It might take a few moments for the Apps list to load)
- Find Microsoft Office Desktop Apps on the list and select it.
- Select Uninstall. Once complete reinstall the Office Suite from the Windows App Store.
To uninstall Outlook, click on the button beside the name and choose Not Available, then Continue. This will remove all Outlook components. If you want to remove some features but keep Outlook, expand the directory and remove just those features.
You can uninstall the 2007 Microsoft Office system by using the 'Fix it' tool.

- 2 Click the download link as shown in the image below.
- 3 Download the fix tool (the file size is about 300KB)
Tip: Uninstalling Office only removes the Office applications from your computer, it doesn't remove any files, documents, or workbooks you created using the apps.
Run outlook.exe /profiles from the start menu to open the Profile selection window. Now click options then delete . If warned about data loss you'll need to confirm removal. Repeat for any other profiles.
To do this:
- Locate the Microsoft Office installation folder (which should be stored in C:Program Files).
- Now, simply right-click on the Microsoft Office folder > select Delete.
Control Panel Method
- Click the "Start" button, type "programs and features" and click "Programs and Features" from the results list.
- Click the version of Microsoft Office you have.
- Click "Uninstall" at the top bar, just above the program list.
Revert to the previous version of Office
- Step 1: Set a reminder to enable automatic updates at a future date. Before you revert an Office installation, you should disable automatic updates.
- Step 2: Install the previous version of Office.
- Step 3: Disable automatic updates for Office.
To uninstall a Feature Update, head to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery, and scroll down to Go Back to the Previous Version of Windows 10. Click the Get Started button to start the uninstallation process.
Click Start and then click "All Programs." Click "Windows Update" and then click the "Change Settings" link. Uncheck the check box next to "Give me updates for Microsoft products and check for new optional Microsoft software when I update Windows" to stop Microsoft Office updates.
You don't have to remove the entire Microsoft Office 2013 software suite to remove Microsoft Outlook. By using the Change option in the Uninstall or Change a Program section of the Control Panel, you can choose the Office features you want to keep on your PC.
The quickest way to do this is via the Settings app that comes bundled with Windows 10. Click the Start button, then click the Settings cog. Once the Settings app opens, click Update & Security. From the list in the centre of the window, click “View update history,” then “Uninstall updates” in the top-left corner.
