Deleting a Backup
- Visit backblaze.com/user_signin.htm and sign in to your Backblaze account with your email address and password.
- Click on the "Preferences" link on the left hand side navigation.
- Locate the unwanted backup from the list of computers.
- Click the "Delete Backup" link to the right of the computer name.
Backup a New Computer
- Visit this page and sign in to the Backblaze account with the registered email address and password.
- On the "Overview" page, select the appropriate download link for the operating system at the bottom right hand corner.
- Run the downloaded installer.
To transfer a license from one backup to another in your account, follow these steps:

An Inherit Backup State will resume your old back up on your new computer/hard drive, this is good if all of the data is exactly the same, and you would prefer to merge your new backup with your old backup.

Use Migration Assistant
- Open Migration Assistant, which is in the Utilities folder of your Applications folder. Then click Continue.
- When asked how you want to transfer your information, select the option to transfer from a Mac, Time Machine backup, or startup disk. Then click Continue.

To cancel your B2 account, first, you must delete all buckets on the account. In order to delete a bucket all files must be removed first. If you are using our Web UI to delete files, go to the Browse Files page. There, select all files and folders and then click to the 'Delete' button.
