Fortunately, there's a relatively quick and easy way to unlock your locked SSS account. What you can do is to reset your SSS account password, and after changing your password, you will immediately regain access to your account.
Call on their SSS Hotline at (632) 920-6446 to 55 (available 24 hours from Monday to Friday except during holidays) and request for unlocking or resetting your account. Prepare your SSS number for verification. This process is also quick and easy and suitable for members that has no time to visit the SSS Branch.
How to Apply for the SSS Calamity Loan Online. Typically, you need to go your nearest SSS branch to submit your loan application. Now you can file your SSS calamity loan application online through the My. SSS web portal at www.sss.gov.ph.
Step 1: Go to the SSS website. Fill in all the details on the online form and submit. Step 2: Once the form is filled out completely, a link will be sent to your email. Click on the link and fill out the next form.
To start using the new SSS Mobile application, mobile users should log in using their existing My. SSS account's user ID and password. Members who don't have a My. SSS account yet can use the SSS Mobile App in creating an account by selecting "Register" located at the Apps' sidebar.
When your SSS online registration is unsuccessful, you may try doing it again using another registration option (refer to Step 1.) Or you can email SSS at onlineserviceassistance@sss.gov.ph for assistance.
How to register in the SSS website
- Go to the My SSS website (sss.gov.ph)
- Click “Not yet registered in My.SSS”
- Select one information as reported to SSS.
- Enter all information needed.
- A notice of registration will be sent to your registered email.
- Follow instructions sent in the email to activate your account.

There are a couple of ways:
- Using the id command you can get the real and effective user and group IDs. id -u <username> If no username is supplied to id , it will default to the current user.
- Using the enviroment variable. echo $UID.
To prevent other people from using your account via your userid, you are required to have a password. A password allows you and only you to access the computer system through your userid. It basically proves to the computer system that you are who you say you are.
In the event of forgetting User-id, User can retrieve it by using the 'Forgot Username' link available on login page of OnlineSBI. If the User has forgotten login password, he/she can reset login password online using the link 'Forgot Login Password' link available on login page of OnlineSBI.
A user name is a unique combination of characters, such as letters of the alphabet and/or numbers, that identifies a specific user. In an Internet e-mail address, an @ (pronounced at) symbol separates the user name from the domain name. Your service provider supplies the domain name.
Employer ID number can be seen in the Registration Plate, in the SS Form R-1 (Employer Registration Form), or in the certificate of registration issued by SSS.

Common Reference Number or CRN serves as the link to your respective membership numbers for SSS, Philhealth, Pag-IBIG Fund (HDMF), and GSIS. It is a 12-digit number issued by SSS for privately employed individuals or issued by GSIS for government-employed personnel when they apply for their respective UMID ID.

Social Security System (SSS) members may now get their Personal Reference Number (PRN) by calling the SSS PRN Helpline at 920-6446 to 55 or local Toll-free Hotline 1-800-10-2255-777 anytime from Mondays to Fridays.
The members can also update their contact information through SSS Mobile Application, log in using their My. SSS account credential; click My Information; click Update Information; click Contact Details and choose Mobile Number and submit.
How to Check or Verify the Status of UMID Card Application
- Go to My. SSS portal.
- Enter your user ID and password. Click the Submit button.
- Hover your mouse over the E-Services menu.
- Click on “Inquiry.”
- Hover your mouse over the Member Info menu.
- Click on “SSS ID card.”
- The “SSS ID Card Production Information” table will appear.
Members can register by sending their SSS number and birthdate using the format "SSS REG <SS Number> <MM/DD/YY>" to 2600. SSS text transactions require a Personal Identification Number (PIN) code, which will be sent through text after successful registration.
