As the SoundLink Mini does not utilise the Bose Connect app, you are unable to change the name of your product through this platform.

It is possible to change the name of the speaker through our app. However, the app we want to be using is called Bose Connect. If you download the Bose Connect app from the app store or play store and connect your speaker to it, you will be able to change the name from there.
Use the 1 and volume down buttons to reset the speaker. Hold down both buttons for 10 seconds and wait until a message appears on the display. The message states that you must hold down the buttons to reset your speaker to factory settings.
Speaker memoryTo clear the memory of all devices, press and hold Bluetooth for about 10 seconds until you hear a tone. All Bluetooth devices are cleared from the speaker, and the Bose® SoundLink® Mini speaker becomes discoverable.
To reset the Bose SoundLink Speaker: On the speaker, press and hold the Mute button for 10-12 seconds or until the LED Indicators Flash. The speaker should now be powered off, now press the Power button to power the speaker back on. Now, try connecting your Bluetooth device to the Bose SoundLink Wireless Speaker.

Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds, until you hear “Bluetooth device list cleared.” Remove your headphones from your device's Bluetooth list. This is typically done by selecting your headphones in the device's Settings > Bluetooth list and selecting "Forget," "Unpair," or "Remove"
Using Settings within the Android Menu
- Locate and tap the Apps Menu.
- Locate and tap the Settings icon.
- Select the Bluetooth. You may need to select Connections first.
- In the list of Available Devices, choose the Bluetooth accessory you wish to pair with.
To remove all paired devices from the speaker, press and hold the Bluetooth button and the power button simultaneously for more than 3 seconds. This resets the speaker to factory settings and the speaker will be in pairing mode when you switch it on.

Finding a Lost Bluetooth Device
- Make sure Bluetooth is active on the phone.
- Download a Bluetooth scanner app, such as LightBlue for iPhone or Android.
- Open the Bluetooth scanner app and start scanning.
- When the item shows up on the list, try to locate it.
- Play some music.
Once installed, Tile's app can locate the Bose headphones as it would any other Tile device. You can “ring” the headphones to find them using the app, and the volume will progressively get louder the longer it rings.
