Due to the deactivation of Bioware's website, redeeming your activation code to obtain the Cerberus Network can no longer be done.
The DLCs for Mass Effect 1 are now included in both the Steam and the Origin version of the game. For Mass Effect 2: Only the DLCs under "Cerberus Network Downloads:" are free to use. The DLCs under "DLC" musts still be bought beforehand.
None of the ME2 DLC packs are going to give you additional squadmates in combat for ME3 (only the ME3 DLC does that), but characters make appearances (provided they survive ME2) and events are referenced. Zaeed, Kasumi, Lair of the Shadow Broker, Project Overlord, Arrival.

How do you activate DLC for ME2 on Steam?
- Download the DLC installers from Bioware's Mass Effect 2 page. (I didn't need to do this as I have all the installers backed up on a separate disk.)
- Running Mass Effect 2 once via Steam.
- Dragging the DLC installers to the Mass Effect 2 folder.
- Installing the wanted DLC.
To install your DLCs, you have to go onto the bioware page and download the installers. Log in and download them here. Steam doesn't handle any ME2 DLC and this is one of the reasons why there have been issues between EA games and Steam. You have to run each one (they are installer exe files).
BioWare today confirmed one of the worst-kept secrets in video games: an HD remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy will be coming to Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as PC, in 2021. The company also surprised fans, however, by announcing that an all-new Mass Effect game is additionally in the works.
BioWare's Mass Effect Trilogy bundle will include a limited selection of DLC. For Mass Effect 3, you'll get the game's online pass (also included with new copies). For Xbox 360, you won't get any of the Mass Effect 1 DLC. But you will get Cerberus Network for Mass Effect 2 and the Online Pass for Mass Effect 3.
The only DLC it comes with is Bring Down The Sky & Pinnacle Station for ME1, and Cerberus Network for ME2. It comes with all the DLC for the first mass effect and none of the DLC for the other games.
EA and BioWare's Mass Effect Trilogy will be selective in the DLC it includes in the box. The Xbox 360 SKU won't include any of the ME1 DLC but does offer access to the Cerberus Network included in ME2 and ME3's Online Pass.

EA access does not include the DLC, HOWEVER.. if you previously owned the DLC, you can still download them.
Probably, as long as you don't interact in any multiplayer modes. You can't play cracked dlc on steam purchased games but you can play cracked dlc on cracked games.
To activate DLC on Steam with a key:
- Launch the Steam client and select Add a game in the bottom-left corner, then select Activate a Product on Steam in the pop-up window.
- Select Next, then accept the Steam subscriber agreement.
- Enter the key under Product Code and select Next to install the content.
No, you cannot purchase DLC on Steam when you do not own the Steam version of the Game. For some older Games Steam does accept the CD Key to unlock this Game on Steam though. This is not the case for the original version of Total War : Rome though. Only Rome II will be accepted.
When a user purchases downloadable content, the Steam client will automatically download the content, display an in-game Steam notification to the user when the download is complete, and notify your game that the download has completed and the user owns new content.
Also, make sure Steam isn't in the process of installing the DLC first. Restart Steam and give a chance to install the DLC. Wait for a while or two in case the Steam servers are having issues. Right-click the game in your Library, choose Properties then the Local Files tab and check Integrity of Game Files.
Goto Host a new MP game. In the lobby it will show you the DLC enabled. Horizon dawn is a event. it will pop up when it pops up.
DLC owned by your account can be viewed in your library. From the Library tab in the Steam Client, select a game and the DLC section will show if you own DLC and if it's been installed.
PC (Steam)
- Log in to your Steam account.
- Navigate to Library.
- Right-click on Fallout 4.
- Select View Downloadable Content.
- Ensure the Install checkbox is enabled for the Automatron DLC to begin the download. Note: you may need to uncheck and the re-check the box to ensure the download begins.
