Add Digital Time to Any Watch Face
- Open the Clock app, then tap World Clock.
- Tap the + in the upper-right, and search for a location in your time zone.
- Go back to your Home screen, and open the Watch app.
- Select the Clock app, then tap City Abbreviations.
Each watch face has a limit of how many complications it can display at one time. Some, like Numerals Mono, don't allow any, while the Infograph face allows up to eight. Most allow somewhere between three and five.
Getting a Face on Your WatchOn Apple Watch, open the Photos app, select the image, and force touch to select “Create Watch Face.” You can then force touch again to change the orientation of the time and date as well as add a watch face complication. To install a new watchface:
- Open the Watch app.
- Tap the Face Gallery icon at the bottom center of your display.
- Tap on the one you want to add, tweak the settings a little if you want, and tap “Add.” The new face will appear on your Watch in short order.
Activity AnalogThis watch face shows your Activity progress, superimposed over a traditional analog clock. You can choose to see your Activity rings in the familiar stacked design or as subdials.
First you'll need to open up Snapchat on your iPhone and navigate to camera mode. Position the phone how you want it for the shot. Next, make sure your Apple Watch is on the default watch face screen and then swipe upwards to open up the Music glance, which looks like this.
In the Watch app on your iPhone, tap the Face Gallery icon at the bottom of the screen. The top row shows the new faces available with the latest version of watchOS, including Artist, GMT, Memoji, and Typograph. Tap the face you want to install and tap the Add button.

Digital Crown (home button): This is the rotating button on the side of Apple Watch (on the right side if you wear it on your left hand). Press and hold the Digital Crown to use Siri, turn it to scroll or zoom, press it to view the Watch face or Home Screen, or double press to access the last used app.

No. You must pair it before you can use it. Pairing it with an iPhone is required to set up the watch. That said, once the watch is paired with a phone it will function with minimal features (basically timekeeping functions) but all you'll have will be a fancy digital watch with fun faces and swappable bands.
Set your watch's time & date
- If the screen is dim, tap it to wake up the watch.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen.
- Tap Settings . If you don't find it right away, swipe left.

- Press your Digital Crown to go from your watch face to the Home screen.
- Scroll down on the Digital Crown to see all your apps.
- If you zoom back in to the default level, you can swipe around to see all of your apps, just not all of them at one glance.
Close the Watch app and then restart both your iPhone and your watch again: To close the Watch app on your iPhone, double-click the Home button, then swipe up on the Watch app preview.
