Press the Setup button for three seconds, or until the light at the top of the remote changes from red to green. Enter 9-9-1 and the light should flash twice. Press the Channel up key repeatedly, with a one second delay between each push, until the TV turns off. Press Setup to record the code the system found.

Change the X1 Mini Guide View
- Press the xfinity button on your remote.
- Use the left or right arrow buttons on the remote to navigate to the Settings (gear) icon.
- Use the up or down arrow buttons to highlight Preferences and press OK.
- Highlight General and press OK.
- Turn the Display Mini Guide Over Video option on or off and press OK.
Press the Guide button on your remote control and highlight a program. Select the Record button on the remote control or select the Record option on the program's info panel. Select Just this episode and the recording will be set.
From the Main Menu, you can select Live TV and the channel you wish to watch, or select Browse, then Networks, Movies or TV or watch content on demand. If you select a channel that requires you to subscribe to the channel, you will see a message stating, “This requires a subscription.” You can then select Subscribe.

To start press Xfinity button, go to Tools Menu ( gear symbol), scroll to Comcast Labs, turn Custom Playlist on. Then go to any recording or On Demand selection, press Ok and among the options choose Playlist.To add or remove a favorite channel:

- Use the arrow keys on your remote to choose and highlight the channel logo (on the left side of screen).

To choose your favorites, press Menu on your U-verse TV remote control, then select Favorites, and follow the prompts to set up your lists. Set up your favorites by tuning to the channel you want to add and then pressing the Enter/Zoom button on your U-verse TV remote control.
To delete favorites
- Right-click the favorite or folder you want to delete.
- Select Delete from the drop-down menu that appears.

ADD OR REMOVE FAVORITE LIST CHANNELS: From FAVORITE LISTS SETUP, highlight a Favorite List and press . Select to add channels or press it again to remove channels.
- Go to the channel's network page by saying your channel's name into your X1 Voice Remote, or go to On Demand > Networks > Premium and then scroll to your channel.
- Select Manage my Subscription from the channel's network page.
- Select Unsubscribe.
Delete a Recording
- Select Saved from the Main Menu.
- Choose Recordings to display a list of recordings.
- Select the program to be deleted and press OK.
- Select the recording to delete.
- Select Delete and press OK.
- Highlight Delete Now, and press OK to delete the recording.
Press 'Services' on your remote then '6' then press the yellow button to add or remove a favourite channel.
