You can also add or edit favorites by doing the following:
- Click on the Sidebar icon in the upper left corner of Safari.
- Select the bookmarks icon.
- Open the Favorites section by clicking on the arrow.
- Click Edit.
Bookmarks take up hardly any space at all, don't worry about them. What tends to use a lot of disk space on any computer is media including music, photographs and movies. If you are concerned about preserving disk space then consider offloading your media to an external HD.
Organize bookmarks
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More .
- Click Bookmarks. Bookmark Manager.
- Browse to the folder you want to organize.
- Above your bookmarks, click Organize.
- Click Reorder by Title. Your bookmarks will be listed in alphabetical order.
Solution
- Go to Applications > Utilities to find Activity Monitor, and launch it by double-clicking its icon. (The Applications folder is on the root level of your hard drive.)
- In the Activity Monitor, select the process with the full name SafariNotificationAgent, then click the upper-left button to close the process.

Apple® iPhone® - Delete a Browser Bookmark
- From a Home screen, tap the Safari icon .
- Tap the Bookmarks icon. (lower-right).
- Tap Edit (lower-right). If unavailable, ensure the Bookmarks tab.
- Tap the Minus icon located to the left of the bookmark name.
- Tap Delete (on the right) to confirm.

Here's how to delete bookmarks in Safari:
- Open your Safari Browser.

- Minus signs will appear next to each saved bookmark.

In macOS: In Safari, select View > Show Reading List Sidebar if it's not displayed. Control-click any item. Select Remove Item.

Shift-click a tab on one side, then a tab on the other, and all the tabs in-between get selected so you can move them at once. If you want more precise control, you can also Control+click (Command+click on Mac) to select specific tabs.

Select a range of tabs in Google Chrome.
- Click on the first tab you want to select.
- Press and hold the SHIFT key on the keyboard.
- Now, click on the last tab in the range you want to select.
- The tabs are selected now.
On the top menu click on Bookmarks. Then click on Edit Bookmarks. The bookmark list appears. Select any bookmarks or collections you want to remove and right click (Ctrl-Click if your mouse only has one button) and select Delete.
When you have more than one tab open, drag them along the Tab Bar to rearrange them, or drag a tab out of the Safari window to open it in its own instance. If you want to merge any separate windows into one, click the Window menu and then “Merge All Windows”. Right-click on any tab and notice the options.
You should find the option to “Show Icons in Tabs.” Enable this setting and you should see favicons while browsing. Mac users need to open Safari, then click Safari > Preferences in the menu bar. Head to the “Tabs” section, then make sure “Show website icons in tabs” is checked.
Click and drag the bookmark or bookmark folder you want to move up or down the list to a new folder or position. Drag the bookmark or folder beyond the last item in a folder to move it out of the folder.

- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More .
- Click Bookmarks. Bookmark Manager.
- Point to the bookmark you want to edit.
- To the right of the bookmark, click the More. , to the far right of the bookmark.
- Click Edit.
- Edit the name or web address of your bookmark.
