Cookies are files created by sites you visit. They make your online experience easier by saving browsing data. The cache remembers parts of pages, like images, to help them open faster during your next visit.
Deleting cookies removes session login information, including the previously entered username and password. However, deleting cookies does not affect passwords you saved in your browser, so when you revisit a site, your browser may automatically fill in the login page with your saved username and password.
Cookies are files you can delete. You probably do not want to block all cookies, because that would really limit the quality of your Internet experience. You can set your browser to ask your permission before accepting a cookie though, and only accept them from Web sites you trust.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap 'Advanced'. Tap 'Website Data' to see a list of cookies. Android does not appear to allow users to view individual cookies. You can delete all cookies, or enable/disable them.

With cookies, sites can:
- Keep you signed in.
- Remember your site preferences.
- Give you locally relevant content.
Cookies operate in the background, so they're not likely to cause much obvious trouble, but there are some instances where you'd want to delete them. Note: If you're deleting cookies, you'll also probably want to clear your browser's cache.
If a user has explicitly stated that they do not accept non-essential cookies, then any existing non-essential cookies placed by the website should be immediately removed, and this preference remembered so the cookies are not simply recreated a short while later.
Browsing history: Clearing your browsing history deletes the following: Web addresses you've visited are removed from the History page. Shortcuts to those pages are removed from the New Tab page. Address bar predictions for those websites are no longer shown.
The first time you visit a site, the browser will save pieces of the site, because the browser can display the files stored in its cache much faster than it can pull fresh files from a server. The next time you visit that site, the cached files will help cut down the page load time.
It's always a good idea to clear out the cache, or browser history, and clear cookies on a regular basis. The drawback to this is that your saved usernames and passwords will be deleted and you'll need to re-enter them. But on the plus side, your privacy is more secure and your browser will work better.
