There are a few things to keep in mind when visiting during a game: You should buy Yankees tickets in advance, but they will be available at the box office during the day before each home game. Gates open one and a half hours before scheduled games on Mondays through Thursday.

From my experience going to the games at the Stadium and arriving before the gates open for promo days the Yankees are usually finishing up BP as I enter the seating bowl. That's about 11 AM for a 1:05 start.

For the new 6:35pm game times, Yankee Stadium gates open 90 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the game. So if your game time is either 6:35pm or 7:05pm doesn't matter - gates open at 5:05pm on the dot.
You can either wait at the clubhouse as they start to walk to the stadium or at the stadium near the dugout as they are getting loose before the game. 4:00 PM - Game over. iPads now allowed at Yankee Stadium. Yankees PR confirmed that you can now bring your iPad to Yankee Stadium. The team had banned the devices for a variety of reasons -- mostly, if not completely, pertaining to safety. Now, though, they have changed their stance and you are free to bring them to the Bronx.

Tailgating is permitted at the various lots and garages operated by City Parking. Open Fires are prohibited in lots and garages. You may only occupy the spots that you have purchased and reserved. You cannot save spaces in lots or garages.Yankee Stadium has four gate locations for entry and exit: Gate 2, adjacent to left field: Enter via Jerome Avenue and East 164th Street. Gate 4, behind home plate: Enter via East 161st Street and Macombs Dam Bridge.
Most serious baseball players hit off a tee regularly. If you want your player to be able to practice in a small back yard, the most common method is to hit off a tee into a net.
