Nested comments are usually a sign that you are using comments wrong. The most common example is commented-out code that contains comments itself, and the fix is to remove the code instead of commenting it out.
Here's how:
- Open the Instagram app.
- Tap the Menu button > Copy Share URL on the picture that has the caption you want to copy.
- Paste the URL on a browser app.
- Now, you can highlight and copy the caption or comment.
The app will immediately take you to the scraper screen. There you will be asked to enter the URL of the post of which you need to scrap comments in an Excel sheet. When you click on the scrap button, a CSV file with all the comments will be generated and downloaded to your local hard drive within a few seconds.
Go to your Facebook page and click on the Inbox tab (formerly this was the Messages tab). Now click on the Instagram tab in the Inbox pane, and you'll see all your Instagram comments. You can now click on any of the notifications to read or respond to them… The feature can be found in the sticker drawer.
Find one of your Facebook page's FEED/POST URL that you want to export comments. P.S. In order to get your post's URL: On your Facebook page's timeline. Select a post and click the time link of your post to get post's URL.
"Expand all comments" button. When there are lots of comments under a post, they're automatically collapsed, and if you want to find (Ctrl + F) a specific word/phrase on the page, you have to look for and click the show (n) more comments link under each post separately.
How to Disable the Comments on Facebook Pages and Groups?
- Select group posts which you don't want to receive any comments.
- Click on the three-dotted icon at the upper right corner of the post.
- Click on “Turn Off Comments.”
- Any comments for this particular posts are restricted.
1 Answer. Facebook has comment spam filters that will, by default, hide certain comments (unless the post owner goes in and manually unhides them). The comments remain in the comment count but don't show up to the public (if it's your post you can see three dots and click to manage the spam posts).
Hide the post or comment.
To hide a comment, hover over the top-right hand “x” and click “Hide.” Now the post can only be seen by the person who wrote the comment and his or her friends. They'll have no idea the post is hidden, and you can always click “Unhide” later if you like. There is no way to disable the comments and likes for all friends. You can do it for specific people if want to do that. What you can do is change the profile picture and set the privacy setting to "Only Me".
Now Facebook is introducing a new comment ranking system to attempt to tackle this problem. Comments on public posts made by Pages or people with many followers will be ranked, with the aim of showing the most relevant and highest quality comments at the top.
To change who can comment on your public posts:
- Click at the top right corner and select Settings.
- Click Public Posts on the left.
- Go to Who Can Follow Me and make sure Public is selected.
- Click Edit next to Public Post Comments.
- Select who is allowed to like or comment on your public posts:
When you go to hide a comment, you'll see that you can also delete the comment or ban the user who left it. Once you've hidden a comment, you can unhide it, delete it, report it, and ban the user. Hiding the Facebook comment will keep it hidden from everyone except that person and their friends.
Click at the top right corner and select Settings. Click Public Posts on the left. Go to Who Can Follow Me and make sure Public is selected. Click Edit next to Public Post Comments.
