Bridal Veil FallsWhen you're looking out from Tunnel View in Yosemite National Park, you get to see so much beauty… but only one waterfall.
You can't see this waterfall from a road; the only way to see the fall is to hike to its top via a steep trail (see a list of Wawona day hikes).
Water. Drinking water is not available at the trailhead, base of the waterfall, or parking area.
The Glacier Point Road is normally open to vehicles from sometime in May to sometime in November. Glacier Point Road will be closed to all traffic in 2022 to rehabilitate and improve the road. The only access to Glacier Point will be via the Four Mile, Panorama, and Pohono Trails, all of which are strenuous hikes.
Yes, nothing but sand and rocks. This lake completely dries up in the summer and there is zero water. For those doing the hike, you can take the road all the way to the lake or the path through the woods. The dirt path is much prettier but the road is a little quicker.
