Only competitors from India are eligible to compete in this competition; however, Indians who reside outside of India are eligible to compete in the Kpop competition. At the time of registration, the candidate must be 14 years old or older. All applicants are eligible to participate in singing and dance.
In 2019, for the first time ever, two Indians debuted as international K-pop idols — Assam's Priyanka Mazumdar and Delhi's Siddhant Arora. Priyanka was a winner at the K-pop World Festival in Changwon in 2016. They are now part of two different groups — Z-Girls and Z-Boys from Korea.
Some trainees start as young as 11 years old, but many don't get discovered and join a company until they're in their late teens, so don't despair if you're a little older! Many K-pop trainees and idols are Korean, but it's not an absolute requirement to be Korean - people of all ethnicities and races can audition.

Korean Nationalities are not allowed to enter. Indian Nationals currently living abroad can also participate, as long as they are able to attend the regional round in India. Non-Indians (besides Koreans) can participate with the following conditions: Indians must comprise of 2/3rds of the Group.

Both boys and girls are eligible to participate in YG Entertainment Audition India. The online audition will be conducted on Zoom app you have to download the app application in your mobile phone as soon as possible. Both girls and boys were going to participate should be medically and physically fit.

While trainees are ostensibly allowed to communicate with their parents, the nature of the beast doesn't leave much time for it. Trainees' phones are taken away for almost the entire day. Actual visits from family members occur rarely, if at all, and only with approval from management supervisors.
