The new Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus won't come with the noise cancellation according to a report by SamMobile, suggesting that the second-gen true wireless earbuds won't be as big an upgrade as we were hoping for.
Like everything else in your computer, Bluetooth requires both hardware and software. If your PC didn't come with the Bluetooth hardware installed, you can easily add it by purchasing a Bluetooth USB dongle. To determine whether your PC has Bluetooth hardware, check the Device Manager for Bluetooth Radio.
Like many wireless headphones these days, the Galaxy Buds have an Ambient Sound mode that will pipe in audio from the world around you. The Galaxy Buds sense this automatically and switch from the microphone on the outside to that mic on the inside.
Galaxy Buds do work with an iPhone, but the wireless Bluetooth earbuds pair quicker with a Samsung Galaxy phone. It's still easy to pair Galaxy Buds with your iPhone — you'll simply connect to them via Bluetooth as you would with any other Bluetooth headphones.
With the Galaxy Buds, you can only stream music from the connected device like a phone, tablet, or watch. However, the Gear IconX earbuds have enough internal memory to store up to approximately 1,000 music files (about 4GB).

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus were supposed to support multipoint between Bluetooth 5.0 devices. However, the company discreetly removed any mention of this functionality on the official Galaxy Buds Plus page. No matter, the Buds Plus remember multiple devices which makes switching easy.
You don't have to use both earbuds
If you want to extend the battery life of the Galaxy Buds, one option is to only use one earbud at a time, leaving the other one in the charging case.Although you can use the Galaxy Buds on their own, paring them with the free (Android, iOS) Galaxy Wearable app unlocks a lot more functionality. The app lets you monitor the buds' battery life and connection status, configure touchpad options, and update firmware.
In the case of simple multipoint, a Bluetooth headset is connected to two separate devices at the same time. So when you answer the call, the headset will automatically stream it from the right device. If you're already talking on your first phone, the headset will alert you if there's an incoming call on a second one.
