Text messages (SMS, MMS, iMessage) from blocked contacts (numbers or email addresses) do not appear anywhere on your device. Unblocking the contact does NOT show any messages sent to you when it was blocked.
If you have a smartphone Android, for know if a blocked number called you, you can use the call and SMS blocking tool, as long as it is present on your device. After that, press the card call, where you can see the history of calls received but blocked by phone numbers that you previously added to the blacklist.
In order to send a blocked text message, you must use a free text messaging service. An online text messaging service can send a text message from an anonymous email to a recipient's cell phone.
If an iMessage, did you block the number, or the Apple ID. If you just added the number, then it may be coming from the Apple ID. If you blocked the contact, make sure it includes the number and caller ID. Apple ID would work for iMessage.
You can directly restore blocked text messages on Android to inbox.
- From main-screen, click on Call & Text Blocking > History > Text blocked history.
- Now click and hold blocked messages you wish to restore.
- After that, click on Menu icon on top and at last, click on Restore to Inbox.
In case of an Android Phone, open the Phone > tap on More (or 3-dot icon) > Settings in the drop-down menu. On the pop-up, tap on Hide Number > Cancel to come out of the Caller ID Menu. After hiding Caller ID, make a call to the person that has blocked your number and you should be able to reach the person.
If your Call Block setting is set to Block Calls, the blocked caller hears nothing as they are immediately disconnected. If your Call Block setting is set to Sends Calls to Voicemail, the blocked caller will be able to reach your voicemail box. No notification is given to them that they have been blocked.
If you call a phone and hear the normal number of rings before getting sent to voicemail, then it's a normal call. If you're blocked, you would only hear a single ring before being diverted to voicemail. If the one-ring and straight-to-voicemail pattern persists, then it may be a case of a blocked number.
When you block a phone number or contact, they can still leave a voicemail, but you won't get a notification. Messages that are sent or received won't be delivered. Also, the contact won't get a notification that the call or message was blocked.
On the application main screen, select Call and SMS filter. and select Blocked calls or Blocked SMS. If calls or SMS messages are blocked, the corresponding information is displayed on the status bar. To view details, tap More on the status bar.
With those caveats out of the way, here's how to call someone who has blocked you on their iPhone. You need to disguise your caller ID, which will prevent the receiving iPhone from knowing which number is calling. Open the Settings app, then go to Phone, and select 'Show My Caller ID'. Slide this to the off position.
When you block someone from texting you on iPhone, there's no way to see the messages that were sent while you had the number blocked. If you change your mind and want to see messages from that person on your iPhone, you can unblock their number to start receiving their messages again.
Blocked numbers are still coming through. There is a reason why for this, at least I believe this is the reason why. Spammers, use a spoof app that hides their actual number from your caller i.d. so when they call you and you block the number, your blocking a number that doesn't exist.
You can't know for sure if someone has blocked your number on an Android without asking the person. However, if your Android's phone calls and texts to a specific person don't seem to be reaching them, your number might have been blocked.
